Someone young, like Eggy from Kingsman except a better actor, not a fucking chav character either. Someone refined and with class but a bit of an asshole troublemaker, someone who needs to be ironed the fuck out.
First movie is MI-6's recruiting program. Create a new character (or pull someone from the books, I dunno, or make it M for fucks sake) and they all report to M's boss...L? Cast Judy Dench again because why the hell not, and the whole thing is a Bond-toned kind of Kingsman except much much smaller scope in the story. Little Jimbo saves the day and earns his wings or whatever. The point is James is cutting his teeth and getting in with the British spooks.
Next one, Jimmy's joining the navy and kicking ass. Some shit goes down. I dunno, a defector or something, cold war shit. By the way this whole series is going to be timeless and not set in one specific era, really it exists on its own like Burton's Gotham City. Anywho, he does some cool shit on a submarine or a boat or whatever and insert book stuff to beef it up. Maybe make it Thunderball-y, I dunno. The point is James learns how to be a military leader of sorts (the endgame is he's a Commander eventually, he's gotta learn sometime).
Next one, Jam Jam's on leave or something and this is one of those little side adventure movies that's self-contained. Maybe the guy's name is Dr. No or something, i dunno. Outs this asshole's big fucking plans, learns how to infiltrate by sidling up to him and becoming a fake protege. Ends up killing the fucker in cold blood. This is the one where he goes from military guy to stone cold killer for Queen and Country (TM).
Next one maybe start rolling out the actual stories. Tweak them to fit into the new tone. Build over the next 3 movies to a big Spectre reveal, but keep Blofeld the fuck in the shadows for a very long time. Keep casting younger faces who will grow with the franchise over 20 years. Integrate the marriage plotline in there somewhere.

Start doling out the Spectre lieutenants and giving each a nice little movie. Don't pull some BIG REVEAL where it was Smee behind all Jim's pain, make it very evident that Spectre is behind this shit from the get. Bring back all the great characters, or version of them. Red Fox. Kanangger. Kissy Muhpuupie. Go full blown racially-awkward on the audience. Cleverly done post-woke anti-woke ironybro shit.
Blodfeld kills Tracy and Bond goes on a warpath for several movies. Fuck Vesper, Tracy's the one that'll really get his goat. Trilogy of Blofeld movies where he dies in the third. Drop him down a fuckin smokestack again, that was pretty cool.
But Blofeld isn't final boss here. Pull out some big guns, or make up a new villain for this new era of Bond. By now, the actor will be like late 40s or damn near 50 and there'll be like 10 movies in the run, so this is where the writers will start grasping for straws and completing fucking up the whole series. This is where they can insert those Moonraker/Die Another Day tier shitfests where it just goes goofy. Perfect cap to the otherwise untarnished and perfectly executed series.
