Well I was hoping for a great final episode and I wasn't disappointed, a total triumph from start to finish.

To take a subject as complex as the reasons behind the explosion of a nuclear reactor, and to make it understandable and dramatic for the audience is an outstanding achievement. It is rare that television engages me 100% in the way Chernobyl has done, every scene, very piece of dialogue, dragging me deeper into the story.

For me Chernobyl stands as a great piece of television drama and also very much as a warning from history: ".... the real danger is that we if hear enough lies..... we no longer recognise the truth at all....." - a motto for all ages not just the Soviet Union in 1986.
