I hear Nigger General didn't end up on the wooden throne.

that show's still on?

Shut the fuck up. We're still mourning the fact we got a movie instead of a full season

What do you guys think happened to Tony? Was he whacked or not?

deadwood is shit though and it always was

>proper finale
>just as inconclusive as the ending of s3.

Hearst did nothing wrong

THIS

It was never good. Okay at best. It was a stiff, plodding, lackadaisical Old West soap opera with a few halfway decent characters and lots of cringe ones.

There wasn't one stand out scene in all 3 seasons. That speaks volumes.

dead show

>they brought back fucking deadwood and not carnivale

fuck this gay earth

in no way shape or form was that a proper finale

talk to your doctor about mental retardation

you expect us to make the onions face over HBO begrudgingly making two more season 3 episodes?

this. movie is crap, too.

COCKSUCKER

this is all I could think when I watched it just now

The movie just reinforces the idea they were right to cancel it. I hate saying it but Deadwood is genuinely too smart for most people.

deadwood has countless outstanding scenes and great dialogue you contrarian underage faggola

Jane best character and actress.

Best scene in the show was when Wu cut his ponytail. The movie was about as good of a finale as one could ask for.

>too smart for most people
just like lost, right? you pseudo-intellectual faggot. there is little smart about deadwood.

L O S T was pseudo-intellectual because it was chaotic stupidity parading as intellect, Deadwood is too smart because it focuses on the characters and leaves certain larger plot elements unsaid for the sake of resolving its tighter central plot and complete fucking retards like the ones in this thread think that it's inconclusive and hasn't finished the story of the town.
>hurr Hearst is still alive so it's incomplete

>This

Still waiting for the DeadWu'd spinoff series.

It is sopranos for the high IQ

best part was when bullock shot those guys. everything else was boring

Why do they look older now?

this is surely bait

>not when they kick the shit out of Hearst
13 years will do that to you

Best part was EB trying to work a phone.

Or Hearst calling him vile. Brilliant movie to a brilliant show

Name 3 "outstanding scenes."

It was disappointing. Al didn't do shit, Hearst went full retard for no reason and his story didn't get any resolution, Alma is just there for no reason at all...

>Seth's anger in every scene
>Wu and swidgen doing deals
>Dan bashing that dude that resulted in his eye hanging out of his head

>Hearst went full retard
Are you one of those people who wonders why a US senator didn't wage open war on US citizens in a newly annexed US town?

I miss him bros

I cant be the only one bummed that Harry ended up being a traitor. I wonder how Tom would've reacted to his death

Nah, I was. Kind of annoyed me actually.
That actor is literally always a traitor. Traitor in Justified, traitor in Bosch...

He was on Hearst's payroll in season 3 technically, but he never meant harm with it and its been 10 fucking years.

Came here to post this

Best anyones going to get for a cancelled flop that aired 15 yeara ago on a subscription cablw channel based on an outdated business model

Show won't be same without that bar competitor, his real is powers booth.
Also this guy is dead too

kek so it actually is too smart for you. Try reading some books friend. You will be smart in no time too.

carnivale will never come back
michael j anderson went full /pol/ and blames the jews for everything
that terminator 3 guy went nuts. complete junkie. was reported missing multiple times.
and lastly the creator doesn't care anymore...he already spoiled what would have happened.

it was actually pretty successful. The cancellation happened because all the actors fled due to a contractual fuckup (everyone was contracted for four years instead of four seasons) and then the town they built burned down while they were trying to get everyone back. HBO felt so bad (because they actually gave a shit at the time) they gave milch the budget for what would've been the last season, and let him to whatever he wanted with it. Which is how john from cincinnati happened.

i gangstalked mja. made him buy a gun lmao.

EB Farnum is the funniest tv character ever including comedy series. His scenes with Richardson were some of his best.
>Could you have been born Richardson, and not egg hatched as I always assumed? Did your mother hover over you, snaggle toothed and doting as you now hover over me?"

>There are people in this thread who don't realize the symbolism of the gems balcony

Yep. His power rests on his reputation, which is forever tarnished in Deadwood.

>harry was heart's payroll in season 3
explain

i enjoyed it but it was kind of nothing. just another long episode of the show. the dialogue was still good, the characters were still good, the plot kinda worked. but it was just another episode and once it was done i was in exactly the same place as i was when i finished season 3.

Whats the story for why the cyrus character didnt come back. Pls provide sauce pls

fucking hawkeye

>asks to be spoonfed on Yea Forums
go fuck yourself.

You go fuck YOURSELF you cocksucking twit

I was surprised a show like it got made in the first place. I've got an IQ of 129, the average person is literally closer to being legally retarded than they are to me, and even I had trouble following the dialogue sometimes. I don't understand how it was ever made. It expects so much from the audience.

That seemed weird to me. He just wanted to be a fireman, his lack of ambition was total. Strange to see him suddenly become the triggerman for Hearst.

>bragging about your iq on the internet
wew. and what are you doing here?

>I've got an IQ of 129
>and even I had trouble following the dialogue sometimes

internet IQ tests aren't accurate

it's set 10 years later and he was always a background character

kek, salty little IQlets. Good job exposing yourself as bitter brainlets by obsessing over the least important part of the post.

I still don't understand what the point of Jade Pettyjohn's character was. Such a nothing entity. I fully expected her to be some kind of assassin sent by Hearst, like Alma's Pinkerton home tutor from season 2.

>Harry Manning was the corrupt sheriff in Justified
Holy shit

Attached: 1525309530733.png (958x718, 152K)

>names his son Yao Ming

What happened to Silas Adams? I can understand how someone like the Russian telegraph operator could have been displaced by a phone being installed in the town, but not his absence. Honestly man I just wish we could have gotten a season 4, or at least have the movie made when Powers Booth was still alive. You don't realize it until he's gone but he's every bit the character Al is, without him the show is a stool missing a leg. A two legged stool even, since Bullock sucks ass and all the female characters are immensely irritating. Fucking Trixie. Never have I wished death so hard upon a 'good' character. What a goddamn fuckup. Makes Johnny look like Al.

EB was the same guy who played JF Sebastian in blade runner right? I'm not imagining things?

He moved to Los Angeles, changed his name to Bosch and became a detective

It was during the HBO golden era where their focus wasn't mainly on profit but also making damn good television. We'll never see a time like that again.

>I fully expected her to be some kind of assassin sent by Hearst
>I still don't understand what the point of Jade Pettyjohn's character was
hmm

They needed to give them someone to talk to and decided to bring in new blood to help reinforce Deadwood's growth.

the important part is you think you're smart. you aren't, by your own admission.

I've been a fan of Jade Pettyjohn's ever since the School of Rock days (no pedo). I defy you to find an actress working today with sadder, more soulful eyes.

Whatever you say my salty little brainlet.

He ran for sheriff, Bozo. Did that ever make sense to you? Or to anyone in Deadwood, like Tom? Then Harry fell into this dream, only wanted to be a fireman, to escape the nast situation he'd crawled into. Then he started farting all the time from being disgusted with himself. And then he got fat, and we see other men run to fight the fires while he toils at his bitchmade position, betraying everyone as he always has.

trolling is an activity engaged in only by those insecure about their intelligence.

Ask Janeane.

He's probably in some other town, remember in Season 3 he'd be gone for like 7 episodes and then ride back in on a horse needing to take a mean shit after taking care of Al's business elsewheres.

How unfortunate you're too dim to understand what trolling is in the first place.

Don't lump all trolling in with some faggot posting a smug Pepe sniffing his own farts.

I have an IQ of 130, one point higher than yours.

The finale was terrible. The show's ending was far better.

>internet community gets obsessed with online IQ tests in 1998
>urged to take one by the mob
>get 168 in seconds
>elected their leader

shut up faggot, you're not me

Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie up until the lackluster ending. Hearst deserved better, I think he was a top tier villain. But mostly I'm replying to check.
