Really? I recall strongly disliking it myself and it pandering to girl power instead of being much of a horror. Though it might have just been the last third that was trash for me.
I have a lot of horror movie fan friends and none of them bothered with it so I don't have much in the way of context for how much of my criticism is just personal taste.
