Why is it that alot of actors who's first role is a main character in a very successful/ popular film are unable to continue that success, after the movie has been completed?
Few examples I can think of: > Elijah Woods ( LOTR) > Taylor Lautner ( Twilight Saga) > Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) > Rubert Grint (Harry Potter) > Sean Astin (LOTR) > Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips) > Nina Dobrev (Vampire diaries) > Tobey Maguire (Spiderman)
Were these people just failed actors who got lucky to be in a movie with such a good plot, that acting didn't really matter, because the plot/ writing was that good? Or is there something deeper.
