Is it a perfect film?

is it a perfect film?

I would rather be known as a cuckold than a fool sir!

It's good but not perfect

It's perfect, but not great.

A fine example of dishonest filmmaking

it is definitely closer to perfect than it is to imperfect, but it isn't perfect

It's Kubrick's best film for sure.

It's a meme

>in the first scene with Barry he is neither chopping nor splitting the wood
Pretty glaring error in terms of Kubrick and don't try to tell me it's because Barry is young and dumb. The Zeiss lens thing is also a meme.

It's also one of my favorite films.

Closest a film will get to perfect cinematography anyway, otherwise great film. No such thing as a perfect movie anyway, almost like saying there is a perfect color.

It insists upon itself insistently

You've never seen Days of Heaven or Badlands.

Howso?

>We'll never get Kubrick's Napoleon

yes

perfect color you say?

Boring and banal.

Damn, that is a nice colour.

So somewhere between perfect and imperfect. Thank you for that analysis.

No one asked about your sex life.

aesthetically, yes

No one asked for you to project yours onto his.

I love the first part; it's like a wacky D&D campaign with Barry being this chaotic neutral main character, the second part is too much of a telenovela for my taste. Good movie overall.
