Excellent. Angel too.

Very good. There is one season later on that sucked and the first one can be hard to get through for modern viewers. It starts out B-movieish. The writing gets better later on. SMG is a shitty actress but a good performer.
Angel is a better show overall.

The quality of the show fully depends on how much you are into the characters

Angel is better but its extremely gay, buffy's a requisite watch anyway to get the extremely awesome character growth.

Ignore fags saying this isn't a girl show. Half the screentime is devoted to buffys relationships and teenage girl problems, the other half of the show is pretty amusing

First season's a little hard to get through for some, but I like it for how cheesy it is. Second season's a bit preachy with its message, but still has really good moments. Third season's amazing, the best. Fourth season's alright, but not as strong as 3 or 2. Fifth season is almost as good as 3. Sixth season has a few decent moments, but overall sucks. Seventh season has no good moments and is absolutely miserable.

A girls show can be good at times. This was fairly kino on occasion but also had a bit too much girl power at times.

I think a few episodes in particular are excellent. Too much monster of the week at times. Ideally find a site which tells you what episodes to skip and which ones to watch for the maximum viewing experience.

Nah, third season is excellent early on, but drops the ball in the second half, especially with the Faith storyline. Fifth season is the best from beginning to end.

The fifth if the best, most consistent season. Three might be the most overrated season not just of that show, of that universe, but in all of TV. Not to say it's bad, but it's definitely in the bottom tier.

The main flaw of all of them is the 3rd acts, excluding S5, are all rushed. S7 is great until the the last few eps. Same with S6. Fine up until Dark Willow. 6 and 7 are probably the first Part A and Part B seasons. As a whole, they work a hell of a lot better than singularly.

I enjoyed the first three series. Took a nosedive in the 4th, and I gave up half way through the 5th. Although the best episode is the last of the fourth series.

It's pure TV kino and the only thing of Whedon's work outside of firefly that's worth watching

Until season 5 if was kiddy show with awesome episodes. I kinda enjoy it. Season 6 was really dark. Some good stuff, but Buffy was such a bitchy slut that I hate the season overall. Last season was kinda meh, not bad, but I don't care about. Show ended at the right time, before it was too shitty.

Nice rebuttal. S3 is an absolute mess.
