Black Adam/Eve and Female God makes perfect sense and is precisely the sort of quirk that Pratchett or Gaiman would have liked. None of these things are new concepts anyway, the female god concept has been done many times before, as had black adam and eve. If you still even believe in Christianity in this day and age, face it, Adam and Eve had to be black, brown, or asian by the best of current scientific reckoning. Just because western civilization had a hard on for, wrote and drew fanfic for a middle eastern religion for two thousand years does not change that fact. Most of those things followed the book anyways iirc. Me I only have two problems with the show, first is the CGI, especially antichrist's eyes and Crowley's demon head. Second, that the witch would be ANTI-nuclear power when in our day and age she should be 100% supporting it as it is greener and safer than hydro wind solar or fossil fuels. But I think that followed the book too and was a sign of the times. They couldn't change that without rewriting the disappearing nucleae reactor.
