if you don't get over junky 3D you will never experience kino scenery, crucial scenes in incredible detail, griffith's kino transformation in third movie and overall missing content in 1997's anime. animation is hit or miss but when it hits, it's fucking amazing. old anime is more put together but they obviously took some liberties to make it complete, which resulted missing some important details and scenes.

it's like listening to band's greatest hits compared to listening to band's most acclaimed albums. none of these comes close to listening to its entire discography which is reading the manga.

Falcon of the Millennium would've been complete kino if Miura didnt make Puck and Isidro into comic relief characters in every page.
