They could never do the artstyle and visuals justice.
The amount of pajeets required to make NeoGotham presentable in CGI would cost more than most movie budgets alone.
They'd also try to get too many sjw brownie points and shoehorn in Max (Terrys black assistant) into the origin story and make the whole thing a bloated mess.
I really don't see how the movie could work unless you fast tracked a lot of things that took place over many episodes.
Even if they did give justice to the plot, the visuals would not work.
I think we'd get another Ghost in the Shell Anime VS Ghost in the Shell Hollywood shitshow.

It could be rad as hell, but I'd have zero hopes. There's so many things with the show/concept that you know would get tweaked and cause it all to fall apart and to turn to shit. The costume alone is difficult to translate without looking really weird if they keep it slim, or just outright dumb if they go bulky.

This is the new normal really, every movie hollywood will churn out will have strong SJW elements. Name 1 major movie based on fiction in the past 3 years that did not have political undertones.

DC is too busy rebooting Batman to ever gain traction enough to make a Beyond film. Seriously, we're probably gonna see yet another iteration of Penguin and Catwoman in this film. How do you expect to see Beyond when they can't move past characters from the 60s-90s?
