I remember when I was in highschool and first getting into anime. I treated each big waifu show as the be-all-end-all greatest show ever. Thought Haruhi and Lucky Star were franchises that would stand the test of time. Then K-on was breaking records, and changing the game.
Then I saw them fade and realized anime, especially 'best of the season' shows never hold up. In 2 years no one will know what show you posted, OP. Instead it'll be some other figure-sell show, and you'll here about how the new show is changing the game, and will last for ever.
