Visconti's stuff is usually great, so at least one of them is probably at least okay

He was going to get away with it though, he was being spared at the end.
kek
no he wasnt, his trial went to shit, he was to be executed and he ultimately just spergs out at some priest
I'm not ashamed
no
Yikes. Already bought it. Went to the bookstore and asked for something similar to the Stranger and the librarian gave me this and said I might want to read Sartre after that.
Did i get trolled?
I like how Meursault's character is basically just
>My feet hurt
>The temperature is too hot
>I wish I was at home drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes
You did, Sartre is even worse. The Stranger is the only french existentialist novel you need to read, for two simple reasons:
- it's short
- after reading it you understand these pseuds aren't worth your time
I liked Sartre but one of his written plays, 'No Exit', about two men and a woman in hell and why they're there. The Plague by Camus imo is good, otherwise Nausea by Sartre also. Very comfy and hard hitting. Just read it and enjoy it, even if it's pretentious. Make up your own mind about those things.
Thanks, mate, will check it out.
I'm currently stuck at "the fall" by Camus and can't get past the shit narrator style.
That one is my dad's favourite by Camus but I also had a hard time reading through it.
Gosling would work for this. Just color his hair black, brown eye lenses, tan skin a bit to make him look half Algerian like Meursault.
>mersault
>half-algerian
>not a pied-noir
Brainlet
Isn't that the point though
I didn't really care for it.
>muh French absurdism
