My casual bookfag buddy was checked out of the series like last year because the fat bastard is taking so long. My other bookfag buddy is a diehard who's still in it for the long haul, but that's because he considers anything past S1 to be unwatchable garbage, so the books are all he has.

Have you watched Deadwood, The Terror and True Detective S1? Best shows I've ever seen, watched all three for the first time last year and it really rekindled my love of good TV.

The reactions to Feast and Dance were less than stellar, but they were received that way because there was almost no payoff at the ends of those books. You'd think Winds would've come quicker than this, just by virtue of the first half of it being the climaxes we were deprived of in book 5. I fully expect Winds to be completed and released in the next few years, but we'll never get Dream.
