Godzilla is actually an alien woman named Rosenn, who nearly died because she contracted diabetes while fighting monsters on Earth. It turbs out she was pregnant, so Earth converted her body into a spaceship for the baby, allowing her to return to her husband, Kuunin in outer space with their son, Lillin, where they will battle the alien race of the Sunerians and free planet Godzilla.

Well things get a little weird.
The first godzilla is a girl that has a kid which is the godzilla from movie 2 onwards to the 90's. Then the 90's treat Hisei Godzilla (aka 90's godzilla) as the same godzilla since it still has the kid, but this time it's a dinosaur that was irradiated in the 50's and never died. So it retcons it into being the OG godzilla that wasn't the og godzilla because the second godzilla is the one that adopted a kid. Anyway, after you figure all of that out as you like, in Destoroyah OG-hisei/2nd godzilla is killed by going nuclear and the godzilla that was adopted absorbs all the energy and becomes the new godzilla that carries us through to Final wars. That's about it.

My bad, I forgot to mention how it's so weird. You see, in Destoroyah they mention that they killed the original godzilla (since that movie was meant to be the end of godzilla for good) except the original godzilla wouldn't exist anymore because they brought that godzilla back to the future from the past which would have made Godzilla never exist in the first place in order to fight King Ghidorah in Godzilla against King Ghidorah. Well, technically he still existed, but was just in Alaska instead, so he never attacked Japan or anyone ever. So the Godzilla that they moved in the past is supposed to be the original one, except not really because they still have it on record that the original one died and that the godzilla then is technically it's son.

Because Godzillas design is based on victims of Radiation burns and poisoning, the crew and director of the film went out around Japan and studied these victims and in turned implied what they gathered into Godzillas design.

I literally watched all of the 90's godzilla movies again today to kill time and can assure you this is what happened.

The movie makes absolutely no mention of anything like that. It's dumb to assume there were 2 just because the movie made it look like Godzilla MIGHT have been killed by the submarines.

98 is garbage, but if you want to see any Godzilla stuff it's still fun. I remember when I was like 6 years old and was sick in bed. Every time the movie finished I asked my mom to come back in, rewind the VHS, and play it again. I'll never forget the scene where the guy shocks all the worms up out of the ground.

If you want to go that route that every Godzilla dynasty is a new Godzilla irradiated then that's fine, we can say that for continuity's sake. However, the first Godzilla WAS female since the second movie has Godzilla being the child of the original Godzilla.

When did it state that it was the child of the original, I never saw or heard of that in any of the Heisei movies, it's implied to be a Godzillasaurus that was mutated and later became Godzilla, hell it shows in Godzilla vs King GHidorah that when they sent the wounded Godzillasaur towards the ocean floor a nuclear submarine awakened it and caused it to gain nuclear powers.

It takes a lot of aspects from the original Godzilla concept sketches and was able to execute them, the only thing that really makes it different is it's long tail

that's interesting, but still, I've been to the Peace Museum in Hiroshima and the photos of the victims didn't have skin like Godzilla. I think it would be interesting if Godzilla looked like a horrifically burnt lizard, and his skin was charred and flaking off, but I don't get that impression, it just looks like a weird texture.

It's in the second Godzilla movie, not the Heisei godzilla movies. So if you're going from Godzilla 1 to the end of the Heisei period then the OG godzilla would've been dead and its kid would've been running around up to and through the Heisei period. Which leaves you to either going with the Heisei Godzilla the in Godzilla Against King Ghidorah strictly, and thus the original and its own continuity, or you go with the Heisei Godzilla continuing on from the Showa Godzilla. If we're going from movie 1 to now, then it creates this fuckery. If we're going by dynasty then only the Godzilla in Heisei Godzilla is the Godzilla to ever exist in its own universe, as all do respectively. Honestly, it's preference and doesn't really matter. It's easier to just say that Heisei godzilla is a new godzilla universe entirely, even if it references previous Godzilla movies. But, it's funnier to talk about how goofy the entirety of Godzilla is by grouping them all together into one continuous series.
