Shadow dragons and baby arc were the only good arcs in GT, everything else felt like filler.

It's one of the comfiest amines around. You don't need to know shit about what happened in the earlier episodes, the plot is so thin it's all character dynamics. Baby is one of the better dragon ball villains, and miles beyond any other antagonist from Super, save maybe Beerus.

GT was shit all around. Super isn't a 'send off' it's a continuation and it's 20 times the show GT was. GT was a literal cashgrab shit out by Toei because they didn't want the gravy train to end after Toriyama ended the manga. Super is actually the result of Toriyama having new stories to tell. Let me guess, you actually watch the dubs and know jack shit about Dragon Ball.

No he didn't, toriyama only did a few rough sketches for scenes in GT. Nakatsuru did most of the character designs for GT, ss4 being one of them.

The idea of intergalactic dragon balls made no fucking sense. So Super tops it with Inter-dimensional planet sized dragon balls and people fucking love it
