Anything but another movie

his wife to get back to the fucking home to take care of kids so he can work full time.

His own fucking show for once.

this guy creeps me out

why not?

Low budget horror for Blumhouse.

He sucks at it

the avgn movie wasn't completely terrible, and i hope he directs more. he could become really good

His own shotgun suicide

Come on now. It really was bad.

In what way?

jewish man, very cool

In about every way a movie could be 'not good'. How hard is it for you to grasp?

Really liking movies doesn't make you a good director, as evidenced by:

-Ralphthemoviemaker
-Doug Walker
-Linkara
-James Rolfe
-Redlettermedia

They're all shit and i pray to god neither one of them ever direct a feature film ever again.

Poor acting, uninspired 'goofy' plot concepts and overall not funny even once. No organic qualities whatsoever. As soon as it ended I went back to an old AVGN episode and actually laughed and enjoyed it.

Fuck Ryan but especially FUCK the alpha Ryan poster.

The AVGN was a bigger letdown than Blade Runner.

I've said it before but every day it keeps being more and more true: the fact that James compares AVGN to Waynes World is utterly appropriate because the movie + Screenwave AVGN are honestly like the Noah's Arcade version of Wayne's World, it's fucking eerily uncanny when you think about it.

Humour is subjective.

Something about himself and no fat boomer friends in sight

2049 is superior to the original in every way.

You know, I feel if this dude had a decent script and budget he'd direct a decent b-movie horror flick.

He obviously understands film and technique, I just don't think he is a strong writer outside of his AVGn skits, which just look like 'fun' projects.

James understands the concepts and techniques it takes to be a good director. He also has a passion for it. That said, he threw all that right down the shitter when he made AVGN: The Movie.

So? Taste in general is, not just humor. Pointless truism.

Yo that’s Tarantino

This, the movie was as bad as those fucking Channel Awesome movies.

Nothing is as bad as Channel Awesome. Give Rolfe a little credit.

How high is his pants.

I bet you enjoyed Meet the Spartans.

Nothing you say?

Okay the production values were much better and it wasn't as cringey as Channel Awesome.
But it was as bad as Space Cop dammit.

Space Cop mind
It's funny how one movie retroactively made RLM look terrible.

Gimme a quick rundown on this mess.

Just watch this clip.

That's the entire movie

Nothing. Don't criticize RLM. Thank you.

>But it was as bad as Space Cop dammit.
Space Cop is by far worse, which is ironic

James has discussed directing and camera techniques that are taught at a masters level in universities. He's demonstrated some pretty damn good ability to use foreshadowing and create a feeling of unease with zero budget in his Board James series. I actually think if he had a decent script and a budget, he could make a good horror film.

But for some reason, he decide not to use any of this when he made that piece of shit AVGN Movie.

It's a movie that's self aware of being a B-movie which makes it feel cringey and feels like it drags on forever with bad dialogue and just plain boring scenes.
Mike's character was the biggest disappointment of all since he kept trying to be forceably wacky instead of just his natural funny self.

Never seen it. What is it about user?

He bit off more than he could chew. It was a mistake to turn a character made for 20-30 minute segments into a movie. The nerd has a formula and it isn't flexible enough for a feature.

this guy is literally a hack

It is like Power Rangers for adults.

>these guys call other movies shit for a living

Those that can't create, critique

Theory and Practice are two very different things.

A live adaptation of this piece of kino

Why does James always use such cheesy effects in his films and content? Does he do it on purpose? It looks stupid and shitty. It would be nice if he actually tried to make it passable.

I think he finds it amusing. Remember he is a big fan of a lot of b-movies and films that use practical effects.

I still haven't seen it.

*tips fedora*

yikes

Release more content you hacks. How much more money do I need to give you to get AT LEAST one video a week?

He's also a desperate 39 year old hack who is desperate to pay the bills for *his* two kids, and mediocre looking disloyal wife via having two Jews take over his life.

I get the feeling a lot of teevee are completely bald

>he actually gives money to a bunch of youtube hacks

you deserve everything bad that happens to you.
