ITT: Guilty Pleasures
ITT: Guilty Pleasures
I love The Brady Bunch Movie. Not even a little guilty tho
Ultimate comfy movie for me
van damme is kino
thats just genuinely a good movie and so is pic related
That film is a underrated fuckin gem.
Kilmer is a great choice for comfy.
Honestly I'm a sucker for "ragtag group holding down a location from the horde" movies in general.
try assault on precinct 13 either or pic related, in fact now that I think of it thats a theme for a lot of john carpenter movies, oh and 13 warrior but that doesn't fit guilty pleasure, its just really good
see
literally that, plus chinese wire-fu and power rangers levels of cheese.
it's made even better by the fact that damons character seems somewhat aware that he's wandered into a chinese action movie, and just goes with the sillyness. also a random dafoe halfway through for no reason as a bit part
it really is a campy chinese action enigma
I enjoy all of those.
He truly is
He did a pretty decent noir movie with his exwife back in the late 80s early 90s.
Legion pairs well with Priest for cheesy Bettany horror.
the bungee jumping scene is both kino and hilarious, love how its so stupid and they immediately get btfo because its just so dumb, why does the blue corps even exist?
that cover is hard to look at
based
The OST slaps.
>I am Yulaw, I am nobody's bitch!
>You are mine!
>I don't need to know you, you need to know me.
>I will be the one!
>*Papa Roach starts playing*
Nobody thinks this movie is bad though.
Maybe not apex kino but definitely not bad.
It's also really fun to play the game where you watch it and try to pick out all the things Breaking Bad ripped off from it.
absolute banger
I was just recommending comfy val flicks
I'll check it out right now. Thanks
never watched past 1st seeason, did BB have a winne the pooh?
I honestly thought that movie was pretty good. The horror was more body influenced than random jump scares and shit. The fight against Micheal and Gabriel was pretty kino too.
This movie gets better with every viewing and actually has pretty good mythology
it had a pink teddy bear in season 2
One of my favorite tropes.
It's why I love zombie movies. A good zombie movie doesn't even require zombies. Fuck, it could be rats like Mulberry Street and still be enjoyable
TBBT
lol
Fucking so based!
legit a great movie
K-on
I actually enjoyed this movie,
Fuck I hate a love/hate relationship with that fucking movie. The cast is alright, the tension is there, the soundtrack is dope af, but the dialog is just so fucking bad.
That's just a mech movie disguised as mythology.
Also pic related is the movie my ex almost broke up with me over because she thought I was gay for liking a musical in reality I dumped her for being a bipolar mutt with daddy issues
All great.
ultimate action schlock and its great
Every film wth good ol' Cage is kino.
I like ghosts because of the setting and the real entire town plus train, and henstridge, but yes the dialogue is awful, except for the balloon scientist, and it hits all classic carpenter tropes, everything else is a 10/10 b-grade sci-fi zombie wild west horror, etc
This shit is a complete rip off of Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight except the bad guys are angels instead of demons.
but is billy zane in it?
pic related for me
>karl urban
>the rock
would've been better had they not used the Doom name desu
idk even know what that is but how the fuck does that relate to gods of egypt?
some great bits in that, DC is better, the ice lake scene is pure kino
Cool to know, buddie.
the bad guys in legion are angels you dense fuck, still a good rec
Billy Zane plays what is implied to be the devil in Demon Knight.
What does Legion have for his equivalent? Keven "I was the blob in that Wolverine film" Durand as Gabriel with bulletproof wings.
Pauly Shore KINO
for shame
Gabriel with bulletproof wings was GOAT, but yes same basic concept, also if its a tales from the crypt and zane is in it, its probably pretty good, based billy
>Except the bad guys are angels instead of demons.
I was referring to Legion in the case. In Demon Knight they're fighting demons, in Legion they're fighting angels. I know in Christianity the line between the two is whether or not they serve god, but no need to split hairs.
In Demon Knight it's just what is implied to be the Devil trying to get a key that contains that blood of Christ.
>Movie about Ninja
>All the Asian actors are Chinese
I love that Liu Kang actor though.
Yeah
it's pretty fucking close to Kino
I never understood why it caught so much hate
All I remember from this film is how it jumps the shark when the demon shows up and starts talking.
I rented this on DVD way back
I remember they had a special feature about the sheer amount of actual squad training the leads went through so they could actually act like something resembling a trained unit
There was this badass scene in that feature where the ex-military institutor takes an AK filled with blanks to a Styrofoam dummy's head to demonstrate that blanks are still dangerous as fuck
I dunno why that sticks out to me
That and some of the first person scenes from the actual film
>institutor
what the fuck
>Instructor
youtube.com
Kino in it's highest form.
yeah, that was weird. But you have to admit, Perlman and Cage work surprisingly well together.
i watch this at least once a month while blackout drunk
> would you like to swing on a star ?
ah, fair enough, in legon their is the concept of the "dogs of heaven" which is basically feral demons,I suspect it was just to streamline the whole thing since introducing hell/satan plus evil gabe etc would've been a lot for this kinda film
fuck yeah man
1st 1/2 is great then it isn't shame, but still fun
thats pure gold, nothing to ever feel guilty about, nothing will ever be like it, nothing will ever surpass it
>no pregnant sex in this movie
>birth scene wasn't especially fappable
>/his/ writes better pregnancy stories about Anne Frank
What an utter disappointment.
seek help
Top disaster kino.
I agree, but you have to admit, it's hard to explain to people why it's good
they can chose to watch and understand or not, their choice, although the baby scene and the cow scene can easily be skipped and nothing will be lost
lmao agreed, I skip both of those scenes every time I watch it
better without them, honestly
should re-release as an "audience cut"
it was a product of matrix, but even when it was first released I loved it except for those scenes even 13yr old me thought that was dumb, the cliff hanger promo tho, that was perfect
very stupid movie and i loved every single minute of it.
>the sequel where the oldest 2 find out they aren’t actually related and then fuck
yeah it's one of the only movies I still enjoy just as much as an adult
can't say the same for Space Jam lol
This film had some good fap material, like the part where the baby gets eaten and Lawrence's characters is beaten,
Pure bliss to me.
Am I the only one? Literally never seen this movie mentioned.
Great movie
Only trigger athiests and alcoholic incels
thanks for reminding me, I'm gonna rewatch this shit
Movie?
the new guy
the new guy
>the actual Paul Bettany's Superhero movie
No, just no.
Who thought that those movies are good to begin with?
Who financed such garbage?
dude in the late 90s, people thought he was gonna be a comedy icon
funny looking back, but they actually believed in him back then
Checked
Also, yeah I remember the hype, he always was annoying and not the slightest funny.
dude the late 90s was an incredible time
they actually financed Freddy Got Fingered
if I had to pick though, I'd pick Tom Green over Pauly
what's guilty about liking this one? it's one of his best movies
Never noticed that lol
please tell me what this is and thank you for doing so
You seem like a fun guy.
This fucking movie is so amazing
No movie has ever made me laugh as much as New Guy. I laughed until I was crying when the In the Air Tonight sequence hit.
Also, not a movie, but I genuinely like Hollywood Undead. It's one of my darkest secrets.
No. 5
>Hollywood we never going down
I can't help but enjoy it
Came here to post this: youtube.com
Its the best shitty movie ever, on par with The Rock
Gods of Egypt, my man.
not sure if I should be guilty or not but I feel like I should be
also...
those bdsm red leather torture girls
dat lesbian shower scene
man
lots of good nipple in this
pretty sure the main female character
doctor or scientist whatever she was was braless the whole movie?
thanks, pal
i wonder what happened to that fat guy, is he black listed in hollywood?
those books are actually kinda fun to read because you can blast through them in no time at all
Inferno was bad.
The movie was somehow way fucking worse.
>those bdsm red leather torture girls
I still remember those
Can't believe it was aired
honestly love this movie.
>is he black listed in hollywood?
Nope, he's dead. OD'd in '97
You ever see retribution? That one is probably my favorite.
>I'd pick Tom Green over Pauly
in what regard
failure or comedic value?
Comedies like pic related and Nic Cage's entire filmography.
not even bad
comedic value
I always thought Tom was funnier than Pauly
I really was not prepared for that movie. I didn't know anything about it so I was expecting a horror movie.
I lost the game
I know right. Its wonderful but im the only one in my circle that likes/loves this masterpiece.
my favorite
youtube.com
Made me tear up as a kid
Love this movie
:(
