It is a live show with live audience. Most of the laughs are recorded from the live performance and mounted over the recorded one. Even the car scenes are acted on a couple of chairs for the live audience and later re-acted in a mockup car in front of a blue screen.

"Nerds" became the norm in society, everyone is into superheroes etc. They became normal guys after S2 but way more dickish. They weren't nerdy enough to begin with to sustain the premise.

When people say "it was canceled" they usually mean or imply "because it's shit" or "because it had low ratings". They simply decided to end it earlier. In a sense they canceled, but it was't canceled.

The show was incredibly consistent in quality the entire series through. The jokes follow the Chuck Lorre formula which has already been perfected previously. It will stand the test of time as a decent show thanks to Bazingabro.

Why does this show have so much bitterness? This shit isn't even true, they never did anywhere near as much damage as people claimed, the little 'geeky' things were mostly just window dressing for laughs and nobody's hobby ever got hurt.

They were always a science themed show and never went back on that, they ended the show at the Nobel Prize. Actually the entire show was all about how the different characters got past all of their deep seated insecurities and ended up becoming great people.

Some of the stuff with Sheldon learning how to love is actually really beautiful and nice to see a mildly autistic character in this position.
