Why didn't Wanted blow up like John Wick?
Why didn't Wanted blow up like John Wick?
No social media to viral market everywhere
>herr durr if i flick my gun the bullet goes weeeee
bullets don't magically fly around buildings when you swing your gun around like a retard. At least gun-fu is sort of based in reality. Also the magical loom of fate shit was stupid. Should have just been "Hey, you're getting paid to go kill this guy. Go kill him." and not Morgan Freeman pretending to be God for the 5th time in a movie. Also Angelina Jolie is hot, but she's not a good actress. I forgot who the other guy is but I remember him being pretty mediocre as well.
At least Keanu can act.
It was very different, had a whole theme of betrayal and son following in his father's footsteps, a rookie bullet curving magician slowly getting much better at his job.
John Wick is just an excuse for to use Keanu at his best, where he doesn't need to act much at all. Lots of action, plot is fairly superficial.
Keanu is a household name and everyone got hyped seeing him in a movie again where the gets to discharge firearms and not much else.
DETNAW
how is bullets flying any less ridiculous than what the Fast and Furious movies do
What does Fast and the Furious have to do with John Wick and Wanted?
>Also Angelina Jolie is hot, but she's not a good actress
I remember she was played by a hungry skeleton in this flick
>What does Fast and the Furious have to do with John Wick and Wanted?
Nothing with John Wick but F&F does a shit load of unrealistic things in it's movies and those are more acceptable than curving a bullet?
idk
i agree with you except keanu is not a good actor
No one gives a shit fagots.
>Wanted had guns, john wick has guns... i wonder why one isn't as popular as the other???
You're just retarded.
mcavoy wasnt a good choice for leading role imo. he and jolie had no chemistry, im not crazy about jolie in it either.
i understand that the MC has to be a lovable loser (at first anyway) but it just doesnt gel for me.
this
both were about a society of assassin's following a higher up for what is considered a greater good
>Manlet lead
>Jolie just hitting the malnourished, old lady wall
>Bend the bullet kek
did bend the bullet really trigger people
Too much CGI, and Matrix-style action had become a self-parody by the time it came out.
Who said that?
Every action scene is terrible and stupid. Also shit lead, shit jolie, shit curve bullets gimmick, supid writing like adrenaline is super rare and gives you slowmo (as if people don't know what adrenaline is).
Does swinging a gun while firing cause the bullet to scrape against the side of the barrel?
Would this be amplified by swinging faster for example in a plane which turned sharply midfiring causing the bullet to dig into the barrel and break it?
>Matrix-style action had become a self-parody by the time it came out.
sound comment here. I remember this movie, and this is a spot-on anlysis. Matrix was the capekino before capekino was something, and it spawned a shitload of copycats that really dragged the movie's heritage down.
didn't it bother anyone that it barely had anything to do with the comic book. it had assassins and that's the only thing.
Could be because John Wick was a really high quality action movie with a story that made sense and Wanted was a really shitty action movie with a story that made zero sense.
Only a few retards
>Does swinging a gun while firing cause the bullet to scrape against the side of the barrel?
Theoretically yes, however when you consider how fast a bullet is and how short a gun barrel is and do some geometry homework, you find out that in order for it to do anything you'd have to swing the gun about a thousand times faster than any hand can ever move. So no.
Imagine actually reading comics
imagine wasting trips like that
Trigger? No. But literally everyone thought it was stupid and childish. The kind of shit a five-year-old thinks is cool.
>didn't it bother anyone that it barely had anything to do with the comic book
No because the comic book is even worse than the movie and is written by the most unlikable prick in the business.
(you)
>didn't it bother anyone that it barely had anything to do with the comic book
>Mark Miller
Not a bit.
>John Wick was a really high quality action movie
What if it attached to a spinning hard drive and fired?
No but it was a dumb concept. Imagine if they made sequels to Wanted. They would take bending bullet physics from the first movie and dial it to 11.
How about you try it yourself and report back.
If they kept the capes this movie would have had several sequels by now.
