Imagine telling every one you deal with day in and day out that the way to fix their problems is eat less and move more. And day in and day out they cant seem to grasp such a simple concept because they have zero will power. Instead they just eat themselves to death.

Rude? I can count on one finger how many times he has lost is composure. But being rude? I can't recall a single instance. He's always straightforward and quickly cut the BS, but he always remains factual and observative.

surgeons are practically always on the clock and likely to receive phone calls on their sleep nights. it is a very stressful job that carries tremendous liability. patients and their families practically become the enemy - it’s hard to convey just how awful and irrational they can be. The easy answer is just to accommodate them and let risky or even pointless surgeries/pills/poor lifestyles consume them. I respect that he seems to genuinely care for his patients wellbeing, though the fact that he part of this freak show kind of undermines my argument
