Venom was pretty nice though and really fun.
Life was great too, greatest space scifi horror of the last few years and a great film in general but it was such a bleak film.

It’s bad, Sony should have made this be the Venom prequel to make interesting.

yeah, it was good because it felt like reading a short sci fi story, like something done in the eighties. when its over, its over, go home, there nothing else here for you to connect the dots, no larger universe, its a movie and it ended.

It's one of those horror films where literally the only reason THE THREAT manages to do anything is because the entire cast is retarded, malicious or both. This can make it frustrating to watch.
Personally, I found the alien fascinating, even if the script was dumb. 6/10 worth watching if you have nothing better to do.

It's a story about the hubris committed by scientismists and the total disrespect towards nature, life and humanity.

It can implicitly be "about" whatever high-minded gobbledigook you want, the nuts and bolts of it is still retards retarding themselves into retarded graves.

Film posters often do this for some stupid reason, presenting images of the main actors and not-quite lining them up with given text credits. First-billing, and you're assumed to know from context who each slave (actor) is on sight. Still bad design, obviously.

Other versions of the basic poster/cover artwork have "corrected it", but many variants of NCFOM's poster/cover artwork swap left and right, for example.
