Finally watched it. Holy shit anons, they literally don't make movies like this anymore. I feel like I discovered a new level to film, goddamn.

what's your favorite part user? i have a soft spot for the aftermath of the civil war battle after they blow the bridge. something about it just gives me goosebumps. then the obvious "so that's how he got the poncho" moment is just gravy
A Fistful of Dollars was the best of the trilogy but Once Upon a Time in the West was Leone's best overall.
watch High Plains Drifter. My favorite clintwood western just behind Josey Wales. Prepare for your mind to be blown
bump for more eastwood or western recommendations

One of the best opening scenes..

Nowadays pretty much ALL these young shits would start diddling their cells after the first 30secs.

that’s a sufficient entry level list. let me know if you want some more gems or modern ones or ones that could conceivably be called westerns but probably aren’t “true” westerns
The best Leone kino is actually Once Upon a time in America.
When he comforts the dying soldier and puts a cigarette in his mouth, who then dies. Pure kino. Then theres the obvious “if youre gonna shoot, shoot, dont talk” scene
>McCabe & Mrs. Miller
Maybe not the best western, but perhaps the most kino. I actually watched it in a high school film class and the whole class hated it, but I was floored. Beautiful, haunting film
westerns suck
westerns always sucked
not making more is a good thing
appreciate, I copied and saved this.
user your next mission is to watch once upon a time in the west it's like tgtbtu on heroin
>Two Mules For Sister Sara
That movie.. might be a bit responsible for my Nun fetish and the MGTOW lifestyle.

It took me long time to appreciate Leone because of how formal they are, I really don't like that shit in general, but my love of westerns overcame it.
OUATITW & HOHW are my favorites
Current sad state of the movie art and GoT finale explained in one simple tweet.
watch My Name is Nobody
> My Name Is Nobody is a 1973 western comedy
> western comedy
> starring Terence Hill and Henry Fonda
Rather shoot myself in the nutsack
The theme song is now stuck in my head. Thanks user
Then do it you fucking cocksucker
>knocking western comedies
Blazing Saddles is kino
kill me before I watch that shit
I'd say the comedy and the non-comedy parts are pretty well separated, there's parts only with terrence hill's antics and then there's the serious bits with Fonda.
My name is nobody is the perfect mixture between an actual western (with direct Sam Peckinpah influences, who should do the movie but couldn't due to contract scheduling conflicts) and fun comedy sequences.
Why don't you like Terence Hill user
3:10 to Yuma.
Watch this now, OP
Tuco's intro still blows me away. He gets jumped, and five gunshots later, all 3 attackers are dropped while Tuco escapes without a scratch.
yep, that’s a movie
"Make sure the rope is tight. It's got to hold the weight of a pig."
All three were great in their own way
This nigga has had 5 all time great movies
Its good and has a great Morricone score
Tuco's interactions with his brother.
What did you guys think of the scene between Tuco and his brother?
Really helped to sympathize with Tuco afterwards. Wan't expecting it but it made Tuco slightly less of a cartoon character
There are only two kinds of people in this world, my friend: those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

How did they get the fly to act like that
Trained it for over 1000 hours
KYS
No, Big Jake?
KYS.
Any love for A Few Dollars More?
Recently got around watching it after finding Fistful just okay and holy shit it completely blew me away. Really can't decide if I like that or GBU more.
They put honey on his beard
>tfw my faggot colleague is always whistling 'Fur Elise' thinking he's a cultured one.
>Tfw I can whistle this tune. But not perfectly.
I need more time.
