They're well crafted, just campy.

Kill Bill is his best

they aged like shit wont be remembered quentin is a lie these dubs aren’t

One of his most cringe, honestly.

I can’t tell if I’m supposed to think his films are good or not

Tostinos film legacy:

>four rooms
complete dogshit and yes this counts no matter how bad he wants it not to

> Reservoir dogs
rip off of city on fire

>Pulp Fiction
decent, but a B- at best

>jackie Brown
great film. funny how he can only tell a cohesive narrative without "muh disjointed chapters" when the material isnt his.

>kill bill 1
rip off of lady snowblood

>kill bill 2
trash

>death proof
the less said about this one the better

>inglorious bastards
decent. suffers from meme chapter directing. the shtick gets old

>Django
fucking horrible

>hateful 8
his second worst movie (next to DP). what a waste of good talented actors on what essentially is a boring as play.

tortallini is a meme director loved by first year film students who think he actually ever made anything worth a damn

he has is own personal style of film making, and loves doing it. though a downside lot his films is sometimes the plot amounts to just brain dead blood shed which throws my interest out the window.

How so? For what it was it shined and the blending of grindhouse, japanese, spaghetti western styles was pretty slick imo.

Fucking based. Death Proof was a shit tier movie and so were the Kill Bills.

Does he look like Robert John Bardo the crazed fan killer

No Josiah looks much more Bardo than Quentin

pulp fiction had a great soundtrack

His movies are the epitome of style over substance. The only one I can rewatch is Jackie Brown. In his defence, I don't think he ever pretended to be anything other. It's nerds galore, but not much else.

they arent

Kill Bill is dogshit.

I reject your hypothesis

They are entry level cinema, the kind of movies high school cinema snobs think are high art. They are fine but the sign of a tru pleb is if any of them break your top 25.

>I can’t tell if his films are good or not

they are good at entertaining but not good in general.
not good enough that you care to watch any of them more than once.

He doesn't make films he makes flicks

All of his movies except Death Proof are pure kino
>reservoir dogs is a ripoff!!
It's way better than that gook bullshit he stole from, only makes it more based

Does watching random Pulp Fiction scenes hundreds of times on youtube count?

Nah, entry level film snobs think Tarantino sucks because popular, while seasoned critics enjoy his films

I enjoyed Django and haven't seen Jackie Brown, but I gotta agree with this. I used to at least respect Tarantino but he's a complete hack who just got lucky with Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds.

His writing is very well regarded and he might even consider himself a writer first, but he might've been better had he been just a director adapting other people's works or a writer having other people adapt his work, like Aaron Sorkin.

no

Do we really need to keep pretending Django isnt his best?

Not

Hateful Eight started as a sequel but then he decided Djano would not want a blow job form a guy
