hank was a fed, which is a hateable characteristic in itself.
walt jr is a shitty driver and a danger to himself and everyone around him behind the wheel.

It's very filler based, not much going on for 90% of the time, very slow story progression. Also, it has a lot of forced drama in it and a lot of things that are simply implausible to downright impossible (like Gus single-handedly killing the CarteL. t has some good acting and some moments, but that isn't enough to make it "good".

yes, still carries the charm of the previous show but it carries a much slower pace. theres multiple plotlines for several characters though so there arent many episodes where nothing is happening.

My friend hated it cause Walt was supposed to be this badass but ended up getting cucked literally by his wife. Skylar was a bitch but I completely understand why she tried anything should could to get Walt out of their lives. She had good reason too, look at how bad he fucked their lives up by doing what he did. That said I like Walt above every other character, I just know it was a sensible reaction to her husband becoming a fucking meth druglord.

I've already seen the first season. It sucked. The very idea of making a series based on a very minor side character was absurd from the start.

The characters can be a little bit caricature-ish at times.

Mike was a hypocritical asshole who deserved death just as much as Walt or Gus else if not more. Still a great character.

The fly story is a slow burn but it informs his character.

Its also about him struggling with the guilt of his actions. The fly is sort of like a rock in his shoe. He tries and tries to get rid of it but he cant and ultimately he gives in and accepts that the pain is just a part of him now.

He's a spy, thug and murderer. His reasons for getting into the drug trade are sympathetic, but so are Walt's. Mike is just a wisecracking everyman so he gets a pass, unlike the nerdy Walt.
He also blames Walt for the death of Gus, even though it was Jesse who caused the tension with Gus in the first place. Walt was dragged in because he wanted to keep Jesse alive. Then Mike blames it on Walt's "pride" and becomes friends with Jesse. It makes no sense.

It made me feel dumb for not realising they literally named a character S'all good man until I finished the show. I hate it.

In a better world, it would be average but because there is so much trash out there like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc. a show that is simply coherent, has believable characters that at the very least make sense in their universe, and is moderately enjoyable achieves exceptional status.
