In no particular order
Sansa
Theon
Stannis
Davos
Victarion

They don't call him American Tolkien for nothing user they call him that to mock him

Dunk
Egg
Bloodraven
Bran
Ser Hyle Hunt

Are you satisfied with the flavor/tone of GoT's aesthetic?

Even in the mostly faithfully adapted S1, the aesthetic is markedly different and stylized compared to the classical depiction of medieval times
>the color palette is muted compared to even real life
>repeating shapes and symbols are present that give it a unique feel
>odd inspirations such as the eastern-looking Winterfell rooftops
>the varying helmets and hairstyles depending on the region
>subtler approach to house insignia rather than open display on tabards, shields, frills, etc
>looser approach to ceremonial and battle outfitting
>etc

Who is the better commander: Stannis Baratheon, or Randyll Tarly?

Viserion

Stannis for overall strategy
Randyll for boots on the ground leadership and winning the day

another good reading

Reminder that the "Disney ending" (Jon and Dany co-ruling) would have been infinitely better than the real ending. The real ending wasn't even bittersweet, for the most part, because the lords of Westeros just agreed to give Bran all authority and nobody seceded outside of Sandra.

But I guess we are supposed to believe that Jon and Dany would have never had a single conversation about marriage even though she dropped Daario to become a more attractive suitor. Jon being King-Consort is somehow impossible because Varys and Santa said so. We saw Dany listen to Jon and give him everything he wanted, but we are supposed to feel "threatened" by his claim despite her saving him three times and asking him to rule together with her.

Whatever. It's GRRM's ending (the major points, at least), so people will claim that it's okay.

Easiest fix to this is Jon dying with rhaegal

What was the point of Jon's resurrection

what would nikolaj's sex with lena be like

At this point I don't much care about how they got there, all the holes in that have been done to death already. But even looking at it from the perspective of the books, it's a deeply unsatisfying ending and I can't possibly see how George will justify her death any better than the show managed to, half assed as it was. I don't see any way he can get there without making her POVs (and those surrounding her storyline) feel like a total waste of time.

Lena would bitch that he's going too deep and that it hurts and probably not be very wet

>but we are not men
>both of them get murdered

What's there to justify, the only reason it felt unsatisfactory in the show is because it was rushed as fuck and you felt for Emilia and her performance this season, Dany's already an irredeemable cunt in the books.

If somebody took out Jon and Rhaegal with a scorpion after King's Landing surrendered, I could totally see Daenerys going, "Fuck this," and burning everything to the ground.

I don't even understand why Jon and Tyrion are even alive after Jon kills Dany.

Dany's death wasn't murder, it was justice for the half a million that just fucking died an hour ago.

Serious question:
Why didn't they adapt AFFC and ADWD properly? Is it too hard for later seasons to continue the plot lines set up on those books? Why did George and D&D stop collaborating after S4/S5? I feel most of the problems with the second half can be traced back to the final episode of season 4 and season 5.

The personal might be able to keep the stories but the personnel actually lives them and makes them.

>lets arya sail west of westeros, doesn't tell her there's just nothing there
For the nth fucking time, Bran was not omniscient. He was basically doing Remote Viewing, so he has to have a target. "Whats West of Westeros" is too vague.

The problem isn't about who is stronger, but whether or not it makes a satisfying plot. What's the point of resurrecting Jon Snow if he is just to die to some new bad guy they introduced two seasons ago? Why Melisandre is so interested with him that she chooses to ditch Stannis and put her bets on Jon? I am not saying Jon should go full shonen anime hero and be king of the Iron Throne, but you better give a damn good reason for why he matters in the war against the white walkers that he gets to cheat death.

begrudging mockery's literally praise

They were really adamant on only having 7 seasons, and they spent more than half of that on the books up until ASOS, the rest just had to make do. HBO and George barely got them to make it 8, and even then it just resulted in 3 more episodes (7 seasons would've meant AFFC, ADWD, TWOW, and ADOS get only 30 episodes, but the shortened S7 and the additional S8 resulted in only 33 episodes)

>David and Dan have been saying for like five years that seven seasons was all they would go, and we got them to go to eight, but not any more than that. So yeah I had accustomed to it, there was a period like five years ago where they were saying "seven seasons" and I was saying "ten seasons" and you know they won, they're the ones actually working on it.

>When asked why the show is ending, he responded, “I don’t know! Ask [showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss] when they come through. We could have gone to 11, 12, 13 seasons, but I guess they wanted a life,” he joked.

>satisfying plot
The fuck show have you been watching? The one where they retconned some stupid mel and arya exchange to make her azor ahai, the one where Jon's resurrection is meaningless? Just have him kill the night king or something it's not hard but they haven't been thinking through anything for awhile

*shaky cam and 12 cuts to different angles during every fight

I would have been fine with Jon and/or Dany not ruling in the end, but it seems like the only reason Jon is a Targaryen is so Sansa and Varys could use that as a weapon against Daenerys. Sansa and Tyrion didn't even mention Jon's parentage and nobody thought about making him King.

In the end, you are right. Jon being executed by Euron fucking Greyjoy would have been terrible. Missandei's execution was a hard sell, so killing off the most popular character in the series the same way would have caused an even bigger uproar.

Is Melisandre based or cringe?

There's people who have tried to go west of westeros before, and he's able to see what they've seen, it's more likely than not all those expeditions failed and he just doesn't mention it cause he doesn't give a fuck

If one of them has to die, I'd rather the other does as well. It doesn't have to be some Shakespearean tragedy or anything, but leaving Jon alive feels pretty fucked up. He should've gotten the NK kill, then his "purpose" would be fulfilled and you could kill him off, leading to a more believable turn for Dany herself. Doing it this way would've also allowed him more than two lines across the entire season.

she is based but bluepilled

>Dany torches King's Landing
>Jon realizes his fault in enabling her behavior
>decides to take responsibility at his own sacrifice
>does the honorable thing like Ned would
>kidnaps her on Drogon and takes her far away
>she's mad and has a mental breakdown
>thinks he denied her the throne at first
>eventually realizes she made a huge mistake
>she could've never ruled after what she's done
>Jon saved her from the public hatred and potential violent overthrow
>also saved the public from a mad tyrant ruler
>the two protagonists essentially have to bail on their lives due to their bad decisions
>they live out the rest of their days on a faraway island
>the last remaining Targaryens as literally whos doing nothing of note
>no heirs as she's sterile and he won't fuck anyone else
>the dynasty dies with a whimper while the Seven Kingdoms stay the same infighting mess they always were
>actually bittersweet

This could take up 80% of the final episode since no one gives a shit about what happens to the rest of the characters because the show spent the later half of its seasons hammering it perfectly clear that Jon and Dany are the protagonists.

Also, doing things this way could've lent some much-needed development to their sham of a "romance" instead of dropping it the moment the season started. D&D clearly wanted the tragic ending for them but somehow hoped they could gut their characters, their interactions, and still achieve it? I'll never understand.

There are bells that can't be unrung. You will never again read those books with a semi-uncritical eye. It doesn't matter what he writes or doesn't write. If or not the Fat Man realizes it, that fact is the _true_ bittersweetness of his ending. On some level, he will write and you will read passages that you will know _would_ have made you feel rewarded and engaged before the show went to shit, but now they don't and you will resent this, whether you realize it and accept it or not.

Speaking of shadow baby or anything related to the Lady in Red; what the fuck was the point?

I don't mind spoilers in and of themself, but I cannot imagine how somebody can read the Jon or Dany chapters in the last two books (if they ever come out) without thinking, "Jon is just going to stab her anyway." The way it's done might be infinitely better, but the show will leave a bad impression in my mind about it.

To show that even impossible odds are possible to overcome with magic, the entire War of the Five Kings itself is just filler/world building/distraction while he moves Jon and Dany into place

They're fucking awful. The prose is mediocre, the characters do stupid things while suffering zero consequences, he clearly writes things without actually imagining in his head what it would look like if the scene played out as written, and he respects his readers so little that he has a character explain the political doubletalk to himself in his own internal monologue mid conversation. I like them.

The Ironborn are the most retarded people in Westeros

They are good. The prose is only decent, which is why some people dismiss him as a hack.

Shadow Baby makes no sense in any version of the story. Melisandre goes from saying that "King's blood" is needed for it to offering sex to Davos to make one. Why does Rh'llor care if somebody is a king anyway? Just make it so people with only Valyrian blood can create Shadow Babies and be done with it. That would at least explain why Stannis would stop using them after they drained his life force, and it would eliminate the possi6of others just using it as well.

I'd really like to know what the point of A Dance with Dragons was, with Jon and Dany both struggling to be good leaders. What is the point of it if neither becomes King?

I mean if they died heroically against the Others, at least it would be a decent end to their arcs as they would fulfill the "protector of the realm" part of being King.

It's blood magic, it works on the same principle as monetary value, i.e. King's blood is special because men believe Kings to be special.

The seven kingdoms are divided in two: Norf and Souf. If House Stark are the kings in da norf, which house would be the kings in da souf?

The gods aren't real you dummy

According to DnD it's also house Stark

They really should go for a show original ending.

You didn't address why Melisandre offered Davos to make a Shadow Baby. If the answer is that he's Hand of the King, then one can simply name another Hand, have them fuck Melisandre a few times and, then name somebody else Hand.

R'hllor is real. The Great Other is real.

Is it any more complicated then that, though? I can't tell.

All Tywin wanted was at least one child who wasn't a complete fuckup and who would take their responsibility to governing House Lannister seriously. Was this really too much to ask?

>that if the king was a good man, the land would prosper. We look at real history and it’s not that simple
>makes the king be a human history book so he'll have access to the knowledge of every world leader there's ever been

>charges a tax for fucking prostitutes
>Did Aragorn pursue a policy of systematic genocide and kill them? Even the little baby orcs, in their little orc cradles?
>makes the supernatural force a hivemind so all of them are killed when the leader is
George is a fucking hack. lmao. He literally just avoided his own criticisms of Tolkien in the most retarded way possible.

The gods may not exist either, sot hey who/why isn't consistent because attempting to attribute it to some gods plan is a falsehood. Just that the functionality of blood magic is semi-repeatable.

It was Tywin's fault for not realizing it was Tyrion.

>the entire War of the Five Kings itself is just filler/world building/distraction while he moves Jon and Dany into place
With that endgame, I wonder why George decided to add a million more characters and storylines after ASOS. The fucker has two books left to get to his ending, and everything is so convoluted that he needs his fans to remind him of continuity.

Rayloo and the Great Other are ways humans rationalize fire and ice magic. In reality all forms of magic stem from blood, there is nothing divine about it.

I liked him even better in the books.
maybe I'm just sick of goody-two-shoes faggotry.

Is anyone actually looking forward to the Long Night prequel?

I get the feeling it's going to be a (shittier) TWD in medieval times. I would much rather see Robert's Rebellion or the Dance of the Dragons, even if we know the outcomes.

I want a buddy cop comedy set in the Free Cities.

I thought at first he is going to champion the small folks and he is going to take down both the Lannisters and Tyrells. Maybe he did, but the problem is they put so much emphasis on Loras's trial even though he literally done far less damage than Cersei. The show turn it into evil vs evil scenario between High Sparrow and Cersei when they could make it more grey, with the sparrows having genuinely good reason to rebel even if their ways aren't necessarily peaceful. They can still have Cersei blowing them all up later on if that's really George endgame and actually could have more meaning.

In the book the high Sparrow arrests Margaery because Cersei has Osmund Kettleblack lie about having and affair with her, which would be treason since she was betrothed to the King. He ends up not believing it and Kettleblack gets tortured into revealing the truth, that Cersei had him murder the old High Septon and told him to lie. That's what causes him to arrest Cersei, as well as on the charge of murdering Robert and sleeping around while married.

It's definitely MUCH more serious than being anti-homo

No. Everything is too small (cities, armies, the cataclysm to small folk). Everyone's age is fucking wrong. The fucking helmets disappear. Armour fluctuates in usefulness. Uniforms/sets honestly felt cheaper as the show went on, even with more money. Detail was lost and only the most blatant of symbols stayed. Too on the nose with wardrobe colours for some characters. I don't mind the slightly darker lighting/drab filter in later seasons, it's meant to be overcast/snowing/blizzard during autumn/winter. The music was consistently great, the choreography went in the shitter (including battle tactics, but that's more writing than actor performance). Shaky cam does not suit this series, or frantic quick cuts.

>believes in sky daddy

I bet you also think the world is going to end by being covered in ghost grass. Stannis was a fool for picking a two-bit fortune teller over a proper maester. He had such potential too.

Nikolaj is definitely one of those men that is more handsome with age.

No one is looking forward to it because of how pathetic episode 3 was it makes it impossible to take seriously

all GoT spin-offs are gonna be a nigger-fest.
you thought Idris Elba as Heimdall was bad?

Stannis got two Shadow Babies out of it, who killed Renly and gave him Storm's End. He might just be a fugazi by the end of TWoW, but Melisandre helped his campaign more than a random maester ever would.

I have read from A World of Ice and Fire. It's amazing really. I would love to watch a full adaptation of the Dance of the Dragons, but it's obvious we won't get any live action series about it. Vid related is probably the only thing we will ever get:
youtube.com/watch?v=PVwfXiNGYNc

I just want to see the madman Daemon jumping from dragon to fight/kill Aemond really. Also, maybe a live action Rhaenyra if they cast someone cute.

Targ apologists can fuck off along with their faggoty anime special snowflake house

I agree, it was an absurd attempt to screw with us and an act of emotional sadism directed at the viewers.

Also for being so shocking they kept steady on the "muh incest" is bad train of thought which wouldn't have mattered in reality(and this ignores twincest we're getting with Jamie and Cersei who died happily).

Garbage ending, the people involved should feel bad for fucking with the people who watched this shit for 10 years.

Wow how useful. All he had to do to get them was ensure that the people of the south will never accept him. Meanwhile, proper advice from a maester would have led him up to the riverlands where he could help Robb and try to get the Vale on his side while the Tyrells and Lannisters kill each other.

I can't stand Targs. They all look the same with their gay hair and anime eyes. They're so highborne, they're treated like elves. Incest. Their names are stupid. Dragons are literally evil. I wish they would stay dead.

The problem really started all the way back to S04E02. Many of the plots that should happen in S5 are supposed to be introduced there.
Summary if you don't want to click:
>Roose already tease the plan to marry Ramsay to fake Arya
>Introduction of Arys Oakheart & Osmund Kettleback
>Tyrion finding out Joffrey is the true culprit of Bran's assassination attempt
>Bran seeing glimpse of the children of the forest, the weirwood and the mad king
>Jaime is about to be sent to Riverrun (obviously will only happen in the next season)
>Melisandre's fire sacrifice will look more 'spectacular' (fire that can change colors, and the sacrificed men souls being visibly 'happy' as it goes to the Lord of Light, more or less confirming it's real)
>Ramsay's dogs will have more screentime, hinting them to fight against the Starks direwolves at some point later.

Aemond and Daemon were hardcore
Also seeing the fishfeed on screen would be fuckig epic with the Winter Wolves and Bloody Benjicot Blackwood

Cucked out of the story. KL should be on fire, endless fucking riots, not praising Cersei or fucking Euron. Ya just nuked the prime house of your state religion, it's not just KL residents who are zealots, the entire country is pissed at endless war. Everyone is fucking starving. Everyone knows that the only people with access to wildfire/alchemist guild are the fucking lords/royals.

How did the shadow babies make Stannis's forces weaker? Renly was his enemy and some of Renly's forces switched sides to Stannis after his death. Sure, others went to the Lannisters, but they wouldn't have been on Stannis's side either way.

Stannis got rid of Renly with minimal bloodshed and got Storm's End the same way.

They are more or less elves in universe. On 'A World of Ice and Fire' book it's mentioned the peasants of Dragonstone essentially treat them as 'Gods' walking with them. The women practically offer themselves to get fucked by Targaryen lords to obtain the dragonseed (read: Targ bastard).

Yeah that didn't help him very much in the long run did it? He should have let the Tyrells and Lannisters kill each other rather than let the Tyrells just swoop in and save the Lannisters. Pretty much all of Renly's people who joined Stannis abandoned him after the battle of the Blackwater. His plan was bad. He needed a proper advisor, not a whore who kept trying to convince him that he was the messiah.

Blowing up the sept and burning at least a portion of KL could actually open a whole new storylines. The other kingdoms decide to secede and break ties with the iron throne (assuming Cersei still survive). Daenerys basically has to conquer each ones of these while Tyrion & Varys can do their things with political fuckery and blackmail. Littlefinger can still be useful too as Jon & Sansa try to gain more support and use him as a 'loose cannon' of sort to gain more allies or to destroy their enemies. Jaime can finally fuck off from Cersei and he can lead the Westerland/Lannister army and more or less be the main antagonist against Daenerys's invasion. It actually give someone we can root from both sides. They can still have lord Tarly betraying the Reach as well if they want and Euron as a wildcard of sort who can turn or join with anyone.

I ain't Bobby. But we niggas is gonna march, and we niggas is gonna free Winterfell... or get caps in our asses tryin. Shiet..."

I don't understand your reasoning. Without shadow babies, Renly has a bigger host and popularity. Stannis has to deal with him AND the Lannisters in this scenario. Even if Stannis tries to pander to the Starks, he still would have to engage in a bloody war with two different factions.

Stannis lost anyway, true, but to claim that he was better off without the shadow babies is stupid.

Cuz she’s a fucking SJW feminist cunt dyke bitch.

Not to mention the peasant rebellion. They have every reason to destroy Cersei and refuse to bend the knee to any Lannisters. In any realistic scenario or at least the first four seasons, the peasants would straight up storming the red keep and rip Cersei and Qyburn apart. In fact that's what season 7 premiere should have been. Angry peasants try to breaking through the gates, Cersei threatens to blow up everyone and Jaime has no other choice but put her down immediately.

She thought that the trauma of being shamed and mocked and lost all her hair empowers her.
t. David Benioff and DB Weiss.

But also maybe this In the books she think of herself as Tywin Lannister with tits and ironically she utterly hates woman and hates being a woman. She probably thought her short hair make her feel more like a man.

When they are good, they are turbo. When they are bad, it's passable and forgiveable.

Overall, yes. Chapters like The Forsaken and Reek I alone redeem his mistakes.

Qyburn would escape with his hang-glider made of human skin.

To be fair Daenerys character is the worst handled one this season along with Jaime. Sansa, Cersei and Arya too. Literally only Brienne who isn't ruined, but even then she got fucked & cucked by Jaime for no reason.

So she’s a woman that’s sexist against other women? What the fuck?

Attached: 2A296268-EC77-442E-9B15-6CF048BF93BF.jpg (618x412, 23K)

D&D bent over backwards to make Sansa and Arya "appear" smart and capable. They kept Cersei around purely as fanservice. Sure, Dany's character was assassinated, but so was Jaime's. People don't care as much about the latter because Jaime isn't as popular as Dany and has been written off to die years ago.

>Renly is stronger than Stannis
>Renly is going to fight the Lannisters
>Stannis kills Renly and fights the Lannisters himself, losing many men
>the remains of Renly's army join the Lannisters and Stannis gets rekt
Instead of having Renly's entire army fight the Lannisters, Stannis had half of Renly's army fight the Lannisters and the other half fight FOR the Lannisters. Renly had no children, so if the plan was to murder Renly they should have waited for him to take KL or at least weaken the Lannisters.

He could just escape through one of those secret tunnels along with Ser Gregor. Maybe escape to Riverrun and be an outlaw or try to join Euron and end up encountering Sandor and the Brotherhood without Banners so audiences can still get their Cleganebowl.

it's sad Lena is so uptight, otherwise we could have seen the Myrish swamp scene
that's some book shit where Cersei finger bangs a Dornish (maybe even Free Cities I forget) noblewoman to orgasm

She is sexist against men too. She thinks she is superior to everybody on the planet in every way (except physical strength).

Why did they murder her bros? Does George just like to fuck with us and make us suffer?

Yeah, even in the show there are hints about this too. The Blackwater episode to be precise when she disdainfully talk to Sansa about being a noble woman. She also despise Brienne too in the books because of how she manages to be a warrior instead of being a typical woman.

Maybe he'll get mortally wounded and have Euron sew his head on Robert Strong's body.

come on boys, give me the bobbyposting.

>Too on the nose with wardrobe colours for some characters
You're supposed to suspend disbelief with the costuming. It's a thing with the show. In Season 3, Margaery compliments the metalworking or embroidery of Cersei's dress which was probably meant to be a subtle 4th-wall breaking reference to the anachronistic and embellished costuming of the show, at least when it comes to the named characters.

They go full retard with it in later seasons, though, and i think a different woman is responsible for it. It just becomes this weird gothy bdsm thing.

Why do people shit (pun intended) on this scene in the books? Are they literally going, "POOPOO HAHAHA!". There have been a plethora of moments more awkward and unfantastical than that.

Who’s the bigger incel?

D&D just completely missed the point of Dany's character. Namely that she's right

>Alexander's empire was better than the squabbling city-states of ancient Greece that preceded it (a pity he did not live long enough to make the union with Persia permanent, and twice a pity that his successors broke it all up into smaller countries to war on each other)
>Dany successfully had all 7 kingdoms under her beck and call
>planned to expand the empire and connect it to Essos
>dies
>elective monarchy, one of the most corruptable systems, is instituted
>kingdoms start splitting
>the crown is now weak as fuck
>each kingdom's Lord is practically a king again who doesn't have to listen to anyone
>civil war guaranteed in the next 5-10 years

Her death is supposed to be a tragedy and a sign that the elite of Westeros fear her so they plotted to Caesar her. D&D can't make their whitewashed good guys look like bad guys so Dany has to be a bad guy and look crazy and genocidal for literally no reason

>but she is still an irredeemable cunt.

If you had to rewrite the show starting with Season 5, and had to get to the same ending we got in broad strokes, how would you do it? Here's how I'd do it.

I'm going to assume all I have is the same amount of time D&D had: ten episodes for Season 5, ten for Season 6, and seven for Season 7, six for Season 8.

[Season 5]

(Bolton-Baratheon War)

-Mance Rayder does not get burned for real and the same plotline involving him infiltrating Winterfell take part, if a bit streamlined

-Wyman Manderly and other northern lords are shown in the first episode pledging fealty to the Boltons. Roose is wary of them potentially plotting against him, while Ramsay thinks he can simply flay them into submission. White Harbor is shown early on, and Littlefinger is with the Freys discussing with Wyman about his required loyalty to the Boltons, and that they will give his captured son back if he helps ensure no rebellion against House Bolton takes place, while Wyman pretends to wholeheartedly agree with Bolton rule. Brienne and Pod are sneakily tracking Littlefinger and Sansa but then get captured by Wyman Manderly and are questioned, eventually leading to a "The North Remembers" speech.

-Yara and Deepwood Motte feature early in the season. Ramsay tries to take it in order to demonstrate Bolton military strength, and even tries using Reek to convince them to surrender, but Yara beats them back, and has a short conversation from the safety of the walls with Reek that results in starting his redemption arc due to him getting reminded of who he really is. Ramsay is called back to Winterfell for a marriage proposal.

-Jeyne Poole posing as Arya is introduced by Littlefinger as a bride for Ramsay. Sansa, posing as Alayne, is fArya's maid. Mance Rayder recognizes who Sansa is and helps organize a potential coup. Reek also recognizes who Sansa is and some drama occurs from the need to make sure he doesn't inform Ramsay.

Can we get a discussion on the autistic descriptions of all the crowns that Gurrm did in the books? For some reason, that's one of my favorite subjects. I'm partial to the idea that The Dothraki and Unsullied would've went apeshit when they found out that the leader of the North's army assassinated their queen and just massacre everyone left in King's Landing including Jon and Tyrion, while some escape like Davos and Arya. I don't buy that Jon blatantly shanking their ultra-charismatic sole commander wouldn't have led to an absolute slaughter. But instead we got Grey Worm not killing Jon and Tyrion for some reason?
>EETS NOUGHT YOUR DECISHION
Dany's death literally had no consequences when she was the most powerful person in the world.

I didn't know they were making another sword of truth series.

>I'm going to assume all I have is the same amount of time D&D had: ten episodes for Season 5, ten for Season 6, and seven for Season 7, six for Season 8.
You can't. Just make it 10 episodes each. It's just impossible to do justice to the finale with just 13 episodes.

I haven't read it, but there is a Vanity Fair article on that very question. My guess is that her pixie cut became a thing as she was put in the position of "owning" or "leaning-in" to the aftermath of her shame. She alludes to this in S1 when she says to Bob "I will wear it like a badge of honor" in reference to him striking her face. Her handmaidens and other flatterers and members of court would have been compelled to don similar haircuts so as not to trigger her.

what's the scoville on that hot sauce?

The decision to sell out Gendry completely destroyed both their arcs

Is it though? If you were a young lass whose only jobs were to brush hair, clean chamber pots, and tidy up a bit, would it really be out of the ordinary to adopt the hairstyle of the one person you are basically a slave to?

The show could have at least shown Jon winning the respect of Dany's forces. Of course, them not killing him would still make no sense, but it would have been slightly more believable.

By episode 4, Grey Worm hates Jon (and the North in general). How is the audience supposed to believe that he doesn't just execute Jon on the spot?

Grey Worm just accepting that Daenerys is dead is also curious, but I guess that's just nitpicking.

Grey Worm had the potential to be a really compelling antagonist. He was a man who was stripped at birth of anything that makes life worth living, made into little more than a tool. Dany comes a long and gives him everything a man could ever want; Love, purpose, individuality. Only for all those things to be stripped away from him again through the deaths of Missandei and Dany. You telling me he wouldn't go apeshit? He'll kill Lannister soldiers for no reason but won't kebab the man who killed Dany? It just made no sense.

Get the fuck out of here with the '7 kingdoms' shit. They're warmongering and power hungry fucks. There's not real reason to unite. Yes the prior kingdoms fought for territory every now and then, but so did the shithead Targs. Their dynasty wasn't one of pure bliss peace, they fucking had infighting and endless rebellion everyone 10-20 years. Forcefully trying to unite a continent never fucking works. Maesters were trying that shit for the last few thousands years and slowly getting there. The show and books make it clear that every house/agenda tries to say things were nice and perfect under ruler/house X, but it never fucking was.

warcraft 3 was gay as fuck.
it replaced the military-objective narrative with some emo bullshit.
also the tax mechanic was the final insult.
fuck warcraft 3 and everything that came after it.

They’re ok, the prose isn’t very good but the plot is very entertaining
Entertaining is probably the best word for them
I read them when I was about 13/14 not too long after aDwD came out and I really enjoyed them
But like I say I was 13/14, at the time I loved reading the dany chapters about a hot girl my age getting fucked
If I read them now I’d probably find it super weird

based image thread bumpers, had to kill one a while ago because the next thread was made too early

I just spent 20 minutes finding the original and can't believe this is true, unreal by GRRM

By men.
