What the fuck

What the fuck.
What was even the point of this episode?
That was legit some of the most sadistic shit I've seen on tv

It is suppose to be the consequences for Robb Starks actions in snubbing the Frey's by marrying that foreign girl

She was ugly as fuck, also why the hell would robb marry a slave from volantis?

in the books robb is taken care by a virgin girl and she drugs him to have sex wifh him, robb then marries her out of pure shame of pumping and dumping a noble woman.

The point was don't fuck over your strategically important allies for some ass.

Show Robert got exactly what he deserved.

It's all downhill from here
Assuming you're a first time watcher based on the reaction.

george rr martin is a sadist

I mean, can you blame him?
Frey daughters were ugly as hell, do you remember the wife of roose bolton? ewww

at least he was granted a quick dead.
dead would be better than being related to the freys and married to one of the she-ogre daughters of walder.

It was a demonstration that the world has subhuman morlocks like the freys and literal demons like the lannisters and boltons who will screw you over in dishonorable ways

a few died at dinner instead of a few thousand on the battlefield

It was Robb's/Caityln's fault for doing something so retarded as to try and marry a Frey girl, instead of marrying a girl from the Reach or the Eyrie.

he deserved it.
Why betray the Freys when a few episodes later you gladly go to sn obvious trap in their territory.

To be granted free pass on the Frey territory, Robb had to marry one of the daughters of Walder.

It had to be one of them, not just a noblen women from a nearby house.

But they needed to marry a Frey girl to pass the Twins

>peasant lives matter more than noble blood
you know that this is not how real life worked, most of the time

>That was legit some of the most sadistic shit I've seen on tv
I assume your mostly referring to the part where they stabbed her pregnant stomach multiple times. Killing Robb's heir to the North was crucial. It wasn't pointless.

No he didn't at all, and the biggest reason is house fucking Manderly. He could have sailed the army from White Harbor to The Eyrie easily

>want more men to take over casterly rock
>a few seasons later casterly rock gets taken over
>kek casterly rock has no value

well ok then

All the Kings from the War of 5 Kings had to die in order to progress the story. The real heroes of the story are the bastards, cripples, and broken things.

Well not for long since Bran the retard just told Dorne and the Iron Islands that he will just give away independence

Gurrm isn't going to do it like that...r-right??

to push pro-abortion propaganda

The slave girl from volantis had a beautiful ass

Forced drama hack writing

He shouldn't have had to agree to such ridiculous terms. The Freys were sworn to House Tully, who in turn were allied with Robb, they should have allowed them to cross free of charge due to them being their liege lords.
I honestly blame letting an idiot like Catelyn go do the bargaining, fucking Tully shits ruin everything.

not in time to relieve riverrun and outmaneuver Tywin .
that episode was kino and you're low IQ if you think otherwise. Season 5 is when the show started going downhill

It's not forced drama. The series is called A Song of Ice and Fire and not The War of Five Kings. The main story isn't about them. They merely exist to progress the story.

> they should have allowed them to cross
they should have, but they wouldn't. IF Robb didn't cross in time he'd basically be stuck right there while the Riverlands would fall and basically the northerners would be in no position to challenge Tywin. Basically,Walder Frey held all the cards and they all knew it

Except that the girl he would've gotten was married off to edmure and she was beautiful. It was at that moment that Rob knew he fucked up.

wrong, s4 was the best. it went downhill from there.

only for the audience reaction

edmure's wife was a cutie tho
