Why do the Jurassic Park movies keep getting worse.

They ditched the animatronics in favor of full CGI. Jurassic World and its sequel look like ass.

Ummm...based on ratings IMDb it goes
>Jurassic Park 1
>Jurassic World fallen Kingdom
>JP2 The Lost World
>Jurassic World
>Jurassic Park 2

So they're getting better categorically

>Lost World
>favorite JP movie because it has the most Dino kills that are memorable
>JW
>One memorable death scene the rest is just "aaaahhh" *chomp* then cuts

Wrong, it's because they ditched science for pop capeshit tier storytelling. Chricton is rolling in his grave.

Remember when that hack Trevorrow assured fans that CGI would be kept to a minimum, but when the movie came out even the goddamn GATE was computer generated?

>Why do the Star Wars movies keep getting worse?
Studios think that more movies mean bigger profits, but it also means less creativity with each installment.

Because people keep paying to watch them after twenty six years of rapid decline in quality

It's not linear, but very rocky after the original.

I'd rank them

Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park 3
Lost World
Jurassic World
Fallen Kingdom

>Based on IMDB ratings
why even type that out as if that fucking matters bro

law of diminishing returns

It's definitely linear

Cut out the San Diego sequence and you've got a fantastic movie in The Lost World. JP3 is quite good aside from its abrupt ending.

>top: soul
>bottom: Soulless

The san diego sequence is literally better than anything that comes after TLW so why cut out the sequence, it's better than anything in Jurassic World and JWFK. The trex looks better

The only one's that are actually good are Speilbergs, III is watchable but not really good.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you were peepeeing all over her and she had that poncho on so the only part of her that would get wet was her head haha. I just think that would be so funny hahahaha

JP [6.5/10]
LW [5/10]
JPIII [3.5/10]
JW [0.5/10]
JWFK [n/a]

a 6.5 is really good in my book by the way, quite possibly one of the only blockbusters besides Jaws that I rate higher than a 6.

Am I the only one who really liked LW?
It had that great adventure feel to it, and ROLAND FUCKING TEMBO

You're a pretentious faggot and everything wrong with the internet and rating movies, ratings, out 10 ratings etc if you only rate a couple higher than a 6, you're just a faggot.

The jurassic worlds are terrible of course though.

They put actual effort into making the first one i.e. animatronics. The newer ones are just money grabs.

LW is great, it might even be better
bigger, more dinos, comfy island aesthetic, rainy, nighttime, cinematography is the best in any speilberg movie

ummm imdbdb sed dey gud and um dat means dey good and dat good right and you stupid poopy pants!

The only reason it isn't my favorite is because I love Sam Neill
Tembo was the man, though. Fuck Vince Vaughn and his eco bullshit

25 fucking years later and movies are looking worse and worse despite the ever inflating budgets. We have to go back to the old ways.

>I know you. You're that Earth First bastard.

1993 is just better directing. there was never a doubt in my mind that T-rex was real in the first one when I was watching it. Gave me genuine anxiety and fear. 2018 made me feel like I was playing Xbox.

That shit is meta tier kino

I can't stand modern blockbuster CGI everything feels so weightless

This is event he case for well received films like the marvel ones

The scene with the RV hanging over the edge of a cliff is the best action sequence in the franchise.

bump for more good discussion

I can't believe these faggots are still going with "bigger is better" philosophy with cgi when its been around for 30 years and been proven long ago that just because you stick more 3d bullshit on screen doesn't make the scene more engaging with audiences.

The last Jurassic World was so fucking boring and retarded I was tabbing out during the action scenes.

Does anyone have a webm or gif of the pteranodon reveal in the aviary from JP3? That was a kino moment.

>JP [6.5/10]

>monorail operator says the gate doors to Jurassic world were salvaged from the original park
jeez they couldn't even bother to make them match?

Who spells "better" like this?
