The Lighthouse looks fucking kino. You can also add Benedetta and A Hidden Life to your kino list. VFX effects were taking too long and/or studio is trying to recut it. There were som reshoots like a month ago.
There were some test screenings last year and the film is allegedly good but not that accessible. People also said that it's Pitt's best performance. This year test screening was cancelled and there were some reshoots shortly after. Gray said the film is mix of Apocalypse Now and 2001. He also claimed that effects are not finished and maybe won't be for Cannes premiere. I think it's better if the film premieres in fall, i just hope studio didn't fuck with Gray's vision. Pitt is also producing so hopefully he will stand by Gray if any conflict arises.
