Hi Yea Forums,
I am in the mood for some ancient Egytian themed kino. Any recommendations?
Other urls found in this thread:
Stargate
The Mummy (1999) + The Mummy Returns
If you liked Stargate and the over the top cartoony direction they took with TMR, you will probably also enjoy Gods of Egypt
If the propaganda doesn't bother you, Prince of Egypt is very impressive
Isn't there a nogroid in Stargate or is that just the tv show?
I am into top tier garbage schlock and even I thought gods of egypt was pretty terrible. Most of the acting is awful and the CGI is an affront to the eyes. I don't even mind the stylistic direction or plot.
I've enjoyed 10.000
Maybe sinuhe the egyptian(the book)
>the book
>not reading the Middle Egyptian original
jesus christ the plebbery on this board

Land of Pharaohs (1955)
Cleopatra
Not many ancient stuff.
Wow, that is one long list! May Ra be with you user!
Thanks. Keep in mind that not everything is 'ancienet' (Transformers is there only because of final scene with the great pyramid) but you should still find something.
didn't happen, also egyptians weren't black
no one is black in prince of egypt
>The Ten Commandments
"So it is written, so shall it be done."
Also the Iliad reference almost made me jizz in my pants.
>Stargate

This is a short Documentary I made by compiling clips from popular biblical films including the Ten Commandments, Prince of Egypt, and several others. The film is designed to show the historical chronology of the Abrahamic Faiths, and the utilization of psychedelic drugs in these traditions and what effect that had. I am still finishing part II, but if you are interested in ancient egyptian civilization this is probably something you want to watch, I've never seen all of this information put together in one place.
>and the utilization of psychedelic drugs in these traditions and what effect that had
none, user.

These are 100% about ancient era stuff.

These are about discovering and exploring ancient stuff, they are set in XIX or XX century but there are throwback to ancient times.
>Alien vs Predator
>Fifth Element
>Immortal (2004)
>Lucifer Rising (obscure short movie)
>Spy Who Loved Me
>Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen
These are sci-fi related to Egypt or just movies set in Egypt. There isn't much about history or mythology, Egypt is just in 1 or 2 scenes.
Night at the Museum 2 and 3 are also increasingly Egypt-centered, very Stargate-y aesthetics
you are actually 100% wrong. Watch the entire video and you will see.
>drop some acid and you will see brah
I'm sure I will
Egyptians didn't build the pyramids
I never said that, watch the video, I have uncovered unique sriptural records that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that all 3 Abrahamic traditions originated as psychedelic mushroom cults. There's more than what is in this first part, I'm still working on the exposition on Christianity and Islam.
I've been studying the bible my whole life, this is where it lead me. This is not a stoner trying to justify his drug use, as a matter of fact I am completely sober for more than 4 years. This is simply a factual account of what happened in these traditions.
meant for
>I have uncovered unique sriptural records that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that all 3 Abrahamic traditions originated as psychedelic mushroom cults
ok buddy ok
The guy with the golden forehead-thingy? Only in the TV show.
Is there any accurate depiction of the Egyptian nobility where they have red hair?
no, it was hardworking americans
Watch the video. That is assuming that your attention span can last longer than your low quality posts.
