>Tens of thousands of Northmen fell in the great war defending all of Westeros, and those who survived have seen too much and fought too hard ever to kneel again. The North will remain an independent kingdom, as it was for thousands of years.
Tens of thousands of Northmen fell in the great war defending all of Westeros...
If the North is to secede, then the Ironborn must as well. The Iron Islands, too, were an independent kingdom for millennia, and we too have fought for centuries to regain our independence and the Old Way. Only the Targaryens quelled us, and they are gone. King Bran, would you, too, continue to oppress and enslave my people?
*ahem* Hello everyone, you may not recognize me, but I'm the new Prince of Dorne, *unintelligible* Martell. Did you all remember that Dorne was the only kingdom that didn't fall to Aegon the Counquerer? We married into the Seven Kingdoms of our own violition. But after the disgusting treatment houses Martell and Targaryen have received from the Crown, it is clear that Dorne can no longer remain a part of the Seven Kingdoms.
*stands up again* shut the fuck up Sandsa. Don't say another FUCKING word. You claim the North as your own but decided to leave the Riverlands, your ally, out of the deal? Your own uncle? Very well. I actually DO have the experience to be King, and King I shall be - of the Riverlands, an independent kingdom.
None of you fuckers could take the Vale anyway.
What the fuck? I'm the legitimized son of Robert Baratheon, the last true king, and you voted for some Northener? Fine, I'm taking the Stormlands.
King of the Rock would make a fitting title for me, I suppose.
He suckled on them teeeeets and grew stronk.
I still don't know if D&D are really dumb and didn't take this into account or if it is a subtle foreshadowing of the unavoidable desunification of the 7 kingdoms.
In the end, despite prevailing, the kingdoms go back to being separated.
Great thread
Bran:
>worgs into you, makes you bend knee for the shits and gigs
Five minutes after this declaration the Vale could conquer all of the North if they wanted, with how utterly decimated they must be from fighting. Same with Dorne and any of the lower kingdoms.
>King Bran, would you, too, continue to oppress and enslave my people?
>this line coming from the Ironborn of all people
Could an omniscient king prevent it?
Honestly, all of the kingdoms becoming independent would have been a much better idea. Perhaps with a central council to settle disputes.
Also that crown looks fucking retarded.
helo friens, fresh prince of dragonstone here
didn't the vale fight against the zombies as well? also how strong really are them? they were just a bunch of fatso hiding behind a series of gates
It depends if he wants to...
He let King's Landing happen and he knew he would become thanks to that event.
Either he knows that he could save more lives by being king and saw KL's genocide as a necessary sacrifice, or the Old Gods/the 3 eyed raven is channeling inside his body and god knows what his/their plan are.
They only sent a few thousand knights, and yes they are. I have no idea what the state of the Reach is considering the Lannister army beat them without an issue even after the Lannisters had been at war almost constantly.
they only have 5 minutes to wrap it all up, they didn't need to make any inconveniences for themselves, that's why you got the infantile plot threads & inconceivable character decisions.
