I agree sort of. I love a lot of movies that are super long, like 3 hours plus. But most films only need 90 minutes to 2 hours to tell their story. For instance I just watched Mandy last night, it's only 2 hours but it felt like forever because of all the slow single shots of nothing and the dronecore soundtrack. Decent movie but would have been great had they chopped 30 minutes from it. I don't care how good something looks, if it overstays its welcome it is done, you know? Before Mandy I watched Django Kill... If You Live Shoot which is like an hour and 54 minutes in the uncut version I watched. It was also too long for its own good. I love a lot of extremely long films, TGTBATU comes to mind while speaking of spaghetti westerns. But all these films use their time to do something worthwhile instead of just wasting moments. Hell even Blade Runner 2049 uses its runtime wisely. But it seems like every movie that comoes out now is at least 2 and a half hours. Normies sit through 3 hours of avengers but don't give a fuck about lawrence of arabia. Weird shit dude.
