>someone recommends me a movie before 1980
>I hate it
Every single time. Even critically acclaimed shit like Jaws is boring. Is this the "youtube influence"
>someone recommends me a movie before 1980

they are the only movies, currently movies are no longer being made anything past 2016 is not going to be anything but some jewish cash grab
Filmmaking peaked in the late 30s
>he doesn't watch The Ten Commandments, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, or It's a Wonderful Life on a yearly basis
>old things are bad because they are old
Good logic there bozo
I shall return to my silent film collection post haste
*hops onto bike that has one big wheel in the front and one small wheel in the back
I'm trying to keep an open mind, I just HAVEN'T found one.
I haven't seen ten commandments, or it's a wonderful life. Sound of Music was awful. I guess the wizard of oz was okay, but rather simplistic and only engaging through surrealism as opposed to good writing or a complex plot
Watch Smokey and the Bandit you degenerate zoomer
>surrealism
Just try to watch the original Jurassic Park and marvel at the notion that my 6 year old self watched it over and over and over and over. It's one raptor attack that you can't see followed by one full hour before you see another dinosaur.
The 70's plenty of great movies.
>Dog Day Afternoon
>Taxi Driver
>The Exorcist
>Halloween
>Chinatown
>One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
>Goin' South
>Alien
>Blazing Saddles
>All In The Family (not a movie, but the best sitcom ever made)
If you don't enjoy ANY of those then I don't know what to tell you. As for even older things, I can agree that they just don't hold my attention most of the time. I'm a zoomer, but I grew up around older folks, so I do have nostalgia for The Wizard of Oz, Singin' In The Rain, The Three Stooges, Abbott and Costello, Ma and Pa Kettle, I Love Lucy, The Dean Martin Variety Show, The Munsters, Addams Family, all of that stuff that would air on TV Land (before they stopped airing good shit to cater to gen x faggots).
I'm not sure YouTube has anything to do with it. You might just not have enough experience with stuff from that time period. Or you just have zero nostalgia. Or maybe you're a retard with ADD. Or a combination. Who knows.
Zoomers lack attention spans, so it's not surprising. Older movies can be slower paced.
>watch a movie made before 1980
>there's only white people and no blatant anti-white anti-christian agenda
this sounds like yms or his friends ralph and IHE
That’s unfortunate since the 50s and 60s were the best decades for film
90s born queers and zoomer niggers were a mistake
Good point, I'd forgotten Yea Forums mutts insist they're white and pay a mealy-mouthed lip service to Christianity.
imdb.com
There you go OP.
Watch every movie on that list.
pretty much every movie made before 1996 is shit people only liked them back then because there was nothing to compare them to
It's a great feeling, right? And if there are black people they're portrayed honestly most of the time. I know this movie is from 1983, but early 80's still has that feel to me. If you haven't seen National Lampoon's Vacation, OP, I don't know what is fucking wrong with you.

was hoping to see him pitstop the cunt
Try going older. Give Yojimbo a try, it's about a ronin who finds a village controlled by two warring gangs and plays them against each other while trolling the fuck out of everyone for his own profit. Way ahead of its time and is very universal in its appeal, so much so it was remade nearly scene-for-scene as A Fistful of Dollars.
Not a zoomer, but I kind of agree with you OP. Watch the Dollars trilogy though, and Waterloo, Blazing Saddles, and The Jungle book. They're good.
Unironically, Apocalypse now.
Perfect taster for a zoomer like yourself.
I could hear the audio in my mind
Is it true zoomers love vita coco?
Are you even trying OP?
>normie friend asks for movie rec
>Paths of glory
>wow that's an old movie
>doesn't watch it
He watch all these new shitty horrors then says they were all shit and complains that there are no good movies.
Why the fuck would you ever suppport honest portrayal of niggers? That's just going to enable them to act even more like niggers.

The conversation (1974)
I think you just dislike slow pace in general since you were literally raised in the internet age. You may never like old movies ever.
Dawn of the Dead. I think you'll like it
underated
cringe roleplayer
my friend is similar except he likes the shitty movies that he watches.
I would say this is pretty normal for teenagers. I couldn't get into movies made before 1980 until I was in my early 20's.
THE PIT MANEUVER IS UNACCEPTABLY DANGEROUS FOR LIABILITY SINCE IT CAN LEAD TO ROLLOVERS
Chinatown is my pleb filter. Anyone who doesn't like that can kiss my gatekeeping ass

Good man. Chinatown is flawless and anyone who says otherwise should be pitied.

Sorcerer is really great but, no, 70s is not peak film. It is, however, peak practical effects. It’s undeniably a time of real “movie magic.” But best decade for film is, without a doubt, the 60s.
Congrats, you're an adhd fuck
Watch The Wild Bunch
you sound like my kike world cinema professor
I recently watched the 1951 version of The Thing and it sucked ass.
I also watched 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (1954) which was quite good. It reminded me of a Star Trek Voyager episode called The Year of Hell.
Shoo shoo, Rabbi.
A lot of people pretend to like old movies like people pretend that Monty Python is funny.
But there are a handful of really great films that have stood the test of time.
based
>k**e
that's a YIKERS from me dog
Go forth and kill!
Wizard of Oz is only good if you're viewing it as a technological achievement and not a film, similar to Avatar or the first cave paintings to use colored berries instead of mud
>like people pretend that Monty Python is funny
I hate to compare things to Reddit, but Monty Python is pure reddit.
>le randumb xxD lol
>silly words lolol
Mud was the golden age of cave paintings, colored berries marked the downfall where all the plebs got involved.
Not mentioning Midnight Cowboys, ishygddt
>if you use this word then you are that
Well, yes? That, couple with twitch tier frogposting reaction images gives you out as a redditfaggot.
Talkies ruined cinema
Porn before 1980 had teens and children in the main cast. Yikes.
watch 12 angry men
that way you can be ahead of the curve for the inevitable 12 angry women
more like the 70's
>implying this isn't a stealth recommendation thread
brainlet. the best way to get the right answer online is to post the wrong one.
