What was the point of this scene?
What was the point of this scene?
He knew he was going to die because he was an indian and shit and knew great spirit magick
Self-sacrifice.
Just like the predator humans have ritualised combat and a sense of honour.
He was a white male and accepted that he was inferior to an illegal immigrant.
Try watching the movie, zoomy.
You're not a man so you could never understand this scene.
Movies women will never understand
The predator didn't know shit about honour
This. It is actually pretty common in the service.
Then why did he disarm himself to fight Arnie? That was clearly a display of honor, and respect for a skilled opponent. OP's scene is actually a direct foreshadowing of this.
that was the predator saying fuck you your so weak I can kill you with my bare hands that wasn't honor it was the opposite
Mans refusal to be prey, he will fight his hunter instead of remaining the hunted. He knew there was only one way to react.
This is a stupid interpretation.
>the service
Like, the kind people are thanked for?
This
not like you faggots would know this, but thats what we alpha males do when facing impossible odds. Have sex for once.
Aint no man.
Too much firewater
Pure unfiltered testosterone
Dont put FUCKIN words in my mouth, tough guy.
i always wonder if people actually believe what they type out. Poe's law, I guess?
Then why didn’t he kill the chick?
He had Arnie dead to rights and still held off on killing him because he wanted a one on one fight. If he thought Arnie was weak he wouldn't have bothered in the first place
The editing makes it seem like Billy dies in 3 seconds.
Did Anytime puss out and not use his gauntlet to fight?
The climax of it was cut out of the film.
Back when it was coming out on vhs the trailer showed a clip of the predator standing on the log holding him out impaled through the chest with on wrist blades, as he rolls his head back and screams, which is the scream Arnie hears as they are running away.
I was obsessed with this film as a kid, and it always bothered me that scene from the trailer wasn't in the film.
