T2 is a superior film with better action and insane stunts but the story is shit. T1 is a self contained time loop, T2 is impossible. Only based Jim can beat himself, Ridley Scott a shit.

The only truly great thing about T1 is the police station scene. That's still kino 30+ years later.

Rewatch the movie, user. There is sexual anatomy and rape innuendo everywhere. The facehugger impregnating the crew member and bursting out (birthing) from his belly, the alien with its penis-like elongated skull and inner jaw, Ash violently shoving the rolled-up magazine in Ripley's mouth etc. It's also very present in Giger's original art. The only reason it is not made even more explicit is because they thought they would never get away with straight up labeling it a male rape movie in space, even though that's exactly what it was.

Alien is just a simple slasher flick with nice sets and a monster instead of Jason. Basically a less schlocky Jason X.

Comics already did that for us.
