This is really good. It's like Hannibal (gore stuff), Scooby Doo (zombie island) and Columbo (mystery).

Reddit
Not really
MCU just hit what was maybe the biggest movie franchise zenith of all time
DC definitely has better shows, but Marvel doesn't produce tons of shows
I'm not american. I just downloaded it
ah okay
Off topic
that sounds awful
Reminder that supernatural books, shows, movies and the like, are for brainlets.
>duuuuuude curses and witches and zombies
>duuuuuude what if, like Trees had like, a Parliament
>duuuuuude the universe speaks through magic and talking monkeys and shit maaaaaan
>duuuuuude ghosts and spirits and eternal torment but it's all localized on Earth

It's hanniscoobumbo Kino you're saying ?
it's nothing but a swamp thang baby
these moor'd out niggas going crazy
yeah
First doom patrol and now this
Dc is on a roll
haven't watched it yet and probably never will, are they doing Alan Moore stuff? if not I'm much less interested
dunno, i didn't read swap thing comics.
Better than I expected. That autopsy scene was straight out of The Thing. Good stuff.
Seems more into science-horror than batshit crazy fantasy. But yeah, it seems they're going with the Alan Moore explanation of Swamp Thing at least.
>weekly episodes in 2019
>That autopsy scene was straight out of The Thing. Good stuff.
lol this
Been looking forward to this for a while now, on a scale of titans to doom patrol how good is it.
much different than the other two. Focus is more on horror than superhero shit. So far so good
oh damn, this woman from Gotham?
yes, Falcones daughter
I'll watch it once the season concludes, if it's Bio-Horror instead of supernatural bullshit. I /hate/ that shit.
Is this show/movie any good?
weekly episodes are the only way to make sure a show stays relevant longer than one week.
Gore is great, you little homo.
Hell yeah! I haven't started it yet, but the look of it already has me intrigued.
So how much FUCK DRUMPF AND FUCK WHYPEEPO is in it so far?
0
>doesn’t like gore
Are you some kind of pussy bitch?
Shut the fuck up speedwatcher
>This is really good
>DC
It is really hard to believe it, user.
I swear every time they reboot his origin story it's completely different
You're not fooling me this time, shill.
I gave Doom patrol a shot, I gave arrow a shot & I gave legends of tomorrow a shot.
Fuck off with your Syfy tier garbage already.
link?
Doom Patrol was unironically great.
we torrent shit, so look on piratebay?
hmm feels like it's gonna be a more straightforward direction, still alright though
Doom Patrol is the best capeshit out there pleb, but Swamp Thing will be even better if it continues like this
except for maybe daredevil the new DC stuff is still the best capeshit tv
If it's not based on Alan Moore's run it's just not worth it. Also when will they adapt Concrete? Anybody read that series? Would be LA kino
i hope they do the thing with people tripping from eating parts of him
CUT HIM OPEN. COUNT HIS RINGS
God this is awful. Moore is overrated as fuck.
That's crazy, has Swamp Thing ever tried DMT
cool
he grows DMT plants on his body. That's what happens when you let a hippie wizard do the writing.
I love Saga of the Swamp Thing though.
Damn, I was mad about Doom Patrol finishing up last week. Didn’t even know about this. Will have to give it a watch.
>I gave arrow a shot
I see what you did there.
All the elements are in place - even if slightly different, Sunderland, Abbey, Matt, The Florenic Man is in as well (not in this episode).
However, it's likely they'll adapt bits from all over. Wouldn't be surprised if they gave Abbey some sort of magical power/rot magic (god I got bored of Snyder's run on Swamp Thing) and I REALLY doubt they'll go full on with the *Travelling to literal hell" part of Alan Moore's run.
However, if the series takes off, we might see American Gothic. Which is a damn fine story... even if the largely forgotten Constantine show already sort of did a mini version of it.
>cargo shorts and sandals
unexpectedly funny
people can't be depended on to savor properly
also i'd miss the weekly livethreads
all i know about Swamp Thing is they rebooted it at the same time as Animal Man and the reboot of Animal Man started off pretty cool.
Until it crossed into the slightly less good Swamp Thing reboot which started INSTANTLY with an enormous, world ending threat instead of building to it. Scott Snyder is not a patient man.
Literally:
>Scene 1. Alec is human again. Superman is there for some reason.
>Scene 2. I AMM THE ROTTTT I WILL DESTROOOOOOY THE WORLD
I remember being pretty excited for the Swamp Thing reboot New 52 whatever. Fell off it pretty hard though. Something boring about Rot and Rotworld.
I'd never heard of Jeff Lemire before but it seems like he got shafted in this situation. I'm gonna look some of his books up and buy them.
It was good when Charles Soule took over. He injected some more cerebral ideas in. It was all very silly and fun as well.
kill yourself subhuman shitflix 5 minute attention span binger
his run on green arrow was really good and old man logan.
enjoy your insanely popular first season and second season that nobody watches and cancellation on the third season
Lemire is great! Animal Man is really solid for the first two volumes and the Rotworld stuff is a little better from the Animal Man side, it's still much better either side of that event though.
Off topic, but Lemire is good. He's got a sort of Stephen King vibe to him, focusing on small scale stories anchored around people rather than spectacle. He wrote a good Moon Knight run for Marvel, as well as the really good Black Hammer (Superhero mystery) and Ascender (epic Sci Fi) for Dark Horse and Image respectively. He's pretty chill as well.
she's not man hands
marathon watching is cancelled. you don't retain what you watched and thus can't discuss it with any competance afterward
got*
looks cheap and shitty
>cheap and shitty
like how I like my women
looks like ps2
Releasing all the episodes at once just kills hype and reduces how many people get into the show.
That's literally the brainlet method.
she had cracking titties, like many of the women on that show
hey jamie pull that up
yeah that's the shit, I've got a boner now
>DUDE, WHAT IF LIKE, SWAMP THING... COULD GROW DRUGS?!
Moore is the worst. The absolute worst.
How can he be the worst if you exist?
how did he get away with it?
Gigachads can touch women wherever and whenever they want without repercussions.
Have you ever seen an attractive man go to jail for sexual offences?
Swamp Thing had Adrienne Barbeau and Heather Locklear in the movies. Can we get more goddesses digging his kudzu, or will that be too problematic for modern film/TV? Watch pic related be his love interest.
This. Instead of getting a shit show all at once. They like to spread it out
this feels like a ripoff of resident evil 7
Adrienne Barbeau will be in the series
ON-GOING SERIES WHEN???
Oh fuck, I remember watching the TV show back in the early 90's on USA. Do you think with this show coming out there'll be a resurgence in a boxed set of that show out now?
I remember some episode with 2 zombie hillbilly gas station workers and they'd kill people by punching a hole through their chest and sucking them out. I think they killed one of the main characters this way, then the zombie dudes tried it in swamp thing and they started vomiting sludge and they died.
Fucking mind fuck for a then-7 year old.
Then Evil Dead 2 came on with the demon hand plate smashing scene. Ahhhh muh childhoods!
