I marathoned the first ep last night.
It's really really bad.
Everything is predictable, all the characters are cliches, there's no nuance to anything, there's no art to it, the soundtrack is dire, the direction is amateur, the costuming even sucks, and maybe this is just on the period, however a period show as costume porn can be its saving, the fashion is absolutely hideous and all round it's just confusing how HBO would stoop to make something so bad.
