I watched the first episode. Didn’t seem super clever, I figured it was a taxi driver pretty early. I assume the trick was both glasses have poison, but the cabby drank antidote already. I also noted that had that been in the US, there’s a much higher chance someone would have called him out for not having a real gun before.
