Season 3 had the most unsatisfactory conclusion for me but it had the best performance of the series or at least number 2 from David Thewlis. He was incredible in it and definitely deserved an emmy for that performance. Yeah I don't know, the third act I guess just felt a tad rushed.
I'd still say Fargo the movie is number 1, followed by your ranking. Still one of the best tv shows out there right now.

Season 3 was pretty bad. Maybe it's they need to radically change the setting every season for it to do well.

Yeah, that was really fucking stupid. One of the three reasons why Season 2 shat the bed at the end.

This but unironically. Lorne Malvo was the perfect embodiment of malevolent chaos. He was the catalyst that propelled the story towards certain doom for many of its characters. Not only that but he had an amusing and fun to watch personality on top of it that complements the character's purpose flawlessly. Thornton's performance was brilliant. He's basically Anton Chigurh but exponentially better in every department.

Season 1 was just a worse version of the movie. It tried too much to imitate it while also trying to pretend its different. It's why S2 is better, because it didn't try to copy the movie directly while still following its formula.

Aliens are real and I like how in your face the show was about it. Like there's normal human life going on on this small rock but there's also UFOs, deal with it. It's a nice juxtaposition between the very small town drama and the greater drama.

Season 1 was just a better version of the movie. It took inspiration and made clever references to it but made many changes for the better.
