I'm playing through The Witcher 3 for the first time now. I think I'm getting close to finding Ciri. Although I love a lot of stuff about the game, I have to say that most things outside of the main quest line are pretty repetitive. It feels very grindy. I've totally given up on contacts as it's the same process every single time. I wish there was more variety, like maybe puzzles or unique creature mechanics.

But it really is a wonderful game overall. It's just the non-primary quests that got old fast and seem very missable.

I don't really care about /pol/, nor the feminist propaganda. The Witcher books were always progressive, and were a social commentary on racism (elves and dwarves being in ghettos, going through pogroms) and feminism (sorceresses taking over the control of the global politics to fix the world).
However, it wasn't so much in your face. When you put a diverse cast in a show that has racism between humans and elves as one of the main themes, you lose the impact and believability.
Why would black and white men unite against elves, who are fair-skinned? Humans would be racist against each other in such setting.

Moreover, everything that has leaked so far looked very cheap and poorly made. The infamous Cavill in the 5$ thrift store wig made it to Netflix' twitter account, which means they weren't ashamed to show it publicly.
The writers have been engaging in quarrels with other twitter users, and they're already blaming them for being toxic. It's a common pattern, whenever a shit show/film appears, producers say it bombed because of the toxic fans (see Ghostbusters).
I have no hope for this show. Absolutely NOTHING they've shown was alluring.
