ever since cinemark started putting up walls in between the rows and reclining seats my fat ass has been chillin. too bad it's premium tickets for fucking $40 and only one of the auditoriums at my local theatre's got it.

There was one theater chain that limited the number of previews but I forgot the name. Love that shit of not having to sit there an extra 20 minutes watching the same crapy previews over and over.

The only thing that this compares to for me is watching alone on my 4K television and surround sound but I love the smell of theaters and the nostalgiabait, so sometimes I go.

I used to work at a regal, shit was horrible. When we had those dinky little donation trays, my fucking manager told us that 95% of the money went directly to the CEOs, so I never upsold a donation to a customer and I got written up for it and, "talked to". Then every morning during the week we'd have the same 8 old folks come into the theater with their stupid fucking AARP cards and stayed in the theatres for hours on end and only came up to give me attitude about the air conditioning and have me refill their large buckets of popcorn. On my second day, they had me come in at like 7am and open the theater, the secondary who was supposed to come in, called out, so I was tasked with setting up the popcorn (burnt it) pretzel bites (burnt em). I only stayed for a couple months then went back to my old job. I originally applied because I liked the whole "Theatre Aesthetic" and thought it would be chill. NOPE. I didnt realize it was one of the jobs that is legally required to take in regards and disabled niggas, but that's another story.
