I still haven't seen Pacific Rim but from the clips of it I've seen Godzilla manages to create a similar weight to the kaiju as with the Mechas in Pacific Rim. One specific part near the end we see Godzilla and Ghidorah clash but from ground level and there's a satisfying rumble as they connect. From what I have seen of Pacific Rim this movie shares a similar colour scheme with a lot of darkness and rain which makes eccentuates the light emitting from the titans making it seem large than life

Im pointing that out because Ghidorah very blatantly fires lightning out of his mouthes and you'd have to be either genuinely brain dead or DIDNT ACTUALLY SEE THE MOVIE.

Professional critics are lousy these days because the audiences are not really interested in (or can understand for that matter) critic centered around technique, aesthetics or cinematography. So, when a critic can´t analyze objective aspects of film they are limited to just writting down their thoughts and subjective opinions which are all biased. For the media criticism is just another form of advertising, they have to sell the film, for people in politics is all about using the film to discuss social issues and so on, for free agents in youtube it´s all about the views (though those are no longer pro critics, those are influencers). To make things worse people don´t give a shit about the criticism itself, they usually support the influencer or critic they usually agree with or the one they find more fun to watch.

Criticism and rattings are utterly pointless and mean nothing these days because everyone can get their opinion out there and people think every opinion weights the same. (which is true since professional analysis of technique and cinematography is not actually an opinion but an analysis. These words don´t mean the same no matter how much plebs want it)

They also have an option for average rating out of 10, which is more accurate. It's hidden because people would get offended that Wonder Woman is a 7.4 instead of a 99

I look at the average score. The percent rating system and lists are retarded, but if u click on Black Panther it has a 8.2/10 (which is still far too high I'd give it like a 6.5/10), but is at least lower than most Bergman or Welles films etc.
