Probably the best documentary I´ve ever seen, and I´m a sucker for the genre. The way Bing portrays those people and their drama is on par with the best Flaherty.

That scene where his son is looking through the photographs and they have to interrupt filming due to an incoming train was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen.

ive been meaning to watch it for years now, poor areas of china have such a surreal atmosphere to them.
