I saw the movie and enjoyed it immensely more than Black Panther.

Did you even watch the movie? It features obnoxious human characters and Marvel quips that all miss the mark. The action scenes are average, it's not like they can do much else than breathe atomic shit at each other.

It is true. Suicide Squad, BvS, Justice League, Ironman, Thor, Suicide Squad, Age of Ultron, Antman, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, etc. all have mediocre ratings. Godzilla isn't good because it's stupid. It's good because it's an unironic masterpiece but critics are too conceited to recognize that perfection can be something other than a Gregg Araki homosexual dramatic musical. Everything practical about this movie was good while everything CGI was prime garbage. Marvel should really stop hiring these "small" directors since they know fuck all about CGI. Civil War was a year ago(?) before this and Black Panther looks great in that.
