I don't even know how that series lasted as long as it did. 90% of TV series see some kind of decline in quality at some point and you usually expect them to bounce back, but SoA was so bad that they didn't even manage to keep up consistent quality for 2 episodes in a row after S2.

otherwise it should've ended with season 6 with Tara dying in the second to last episode and then the finale is Jax hunts down Gemma and Juice, Juice and Jax end up fatally wounding each other at the very end (closing out the Shakespeare allegory)
