>Watching anything that's not capeshit.

Mediocre.
Shit. This stupid board and RLM made me watch it.
Troll.

I'm the genuine one. Watch Good Time. Watch Suspiria. Watch The Endless.

Say no more

Superhero movies are oversaturated, there was a time i enjoyed it but i do not crave it for the moment. Maybe when they find a new twist to beat dead again.

mother! is a good movie. I understad if bible inspired allegory isn't your cup of tea, but don't pretend like it was in anyway objectively bad.

this is a good pick

only the Ultimate edition

My suggestion would be Good Time with Robert Pattinson. Really well made flick.

you're being memed, don't watch those, watch Batman vs Superman.

Will check out yoyr suggestions, thank you for not trolling

This OP. The ultimate edition.

Good Time and Suspiria are good movies. The Endless is alright, but not nearly as good as Dark City or BvS Ultimate Cut.

The Endless has some fundamental plot problems, incredibly unclear "rules" that saps out most of the tension by the end, and the cheesiest fucking ending I've ever seen.

No, i love mother!, its in mu top 5. Thats why i posted it. Its a love or hate movie i noticed. The Holy Mountain is also one of my favorites.

You can't take recommendations from Yea Forums too blindly. We have diverse taste here.

>Good Time
Mediocre and forgetful
>Suspiria
Babbys first splatter
>The Endless
Childrens cartoon for juvenile minds such as yourself

Don't listen to these poseurs and go rent No Country For Old Men

If someone recommends a movie that they genuinly like, instead of trolling, i will ofcourse take it into consideration cause we might share the same time, or atleast a shade of it.

>No Country For Old Men
fucking this

I love No country for old men, def in my top 10. Ill go ahead and post some movies i recommend if anyone is lurking.

The Social Network
It's Such A Beautiful Day
The Thing
Goodfellas
El Topo
The Pianist
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter
Pans Labyrinth
Mother!
The Holy Mountain

coherence
season of the witch

Good taste. I would suggest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Cut) in all seriousness then.

I would never shit on anyone for hating it, since it is a really specific movie with a specific kind of message and it can be obtuse at times. Doesn't help that there are some bad parts that just exist to set up a greater universe (like introducing WW 2/3 into the movie for really no reason), but I have found that people who like the allegorical story telling of mother! tend to like similar elements in BvS.

If you are burnt out on capeshit though, then my suggestion is still Good Time. The plotting isn't perfect, and it kind of becomes a different movie about halfway through, but the craftsmenship, tone, and tension are all there.

Just a few that I like and consider to be good
>Princess Mononoke
>Boogie Nights
>Tombstone
>Seven Psychopaths
>Gattaca
>Rear Window
>George Romero's "Martin"
>Leon: The Professional
>The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
>First Reformed

Dark City is too far up it's own ass, corny and dragged by an incoherent plot. BvS is one of the worst movies I've seen alongside Southland Tales, Assassination Nation and Assassin's Creed.

You're either 15 years too late for Yea Forums or you should find a different place to ask for genuine recommendations. Either way good luck.

Third for No Country For Old Men. You should also check out Fargo and The Big Lebowski by the same writers and directors.

>>George Romero's "Martin"
I've never heard anyone even acknowledge the existence of this movie before and now there's 2 mentions on Yea Forums at the same time.

OP, it comes highly recommended.

>god can this board recommend me a GOOD movie?
the three colours trilogy, primer, barton fink
>whiplash
dont' bother, it's boring oscar bait

Everyone has an innate desire to have their favorite things to be acknowledged no matter where you are at, I really do expect genuine recommendations.

Good Time sucks and unironically recommending capeshit means i have to recommend you kill yourself

epic post, bro!

you're wrong

Nightcrawler

Probably Tylo b chillin

Burning checked bro

Wind River is good. It actually made me feel for American Indians for a bit.

Whiplash is great

shoplifters

have you seen Alien? if no, see Alien.

I can tell you have awful taste from this short post alone. I guess it’s not your fault, but you should know better than to be giving out film recommendations, user

Post your top 5 movies.

I really hated this movie, and I love Jake and Villeneuve. Can you share what you took away from it?

1. Edgame

>bible inspired allegory
That autistic piece of shit is far from bible alegory. Jesus sacrificed willingly and his body is given to you to purify not to cannibalize. If at least once someone actually studied those things instead of being dumb posers.

1. The Fast and the Furious
2. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
3. Fast & Furious 6
4. Colour of Pomegranate
5. The Fate of the Furious

How can you possibly like those movies and not like Dark City or Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition? They are very much of a kind

Attached: A307B13E-CACF-4CC2-87F6-2879D0D0648D.jpg (640x439, 34K)

Man, I saw BvS in a kinoplex with my nephew, I hated it and not willing to put myself through some Ultimate Edition again. Dark City is just some anime-tier overdramatic tryhard cheap-looking film.

Incorrect

Op here, just watched whiplash, movie was fucking great

Watch whiplash 2

Absolute shit tier opinions.

Good list. Recs from all different times and of varying degrees of intended audience (ie mainstream, blockbuster, indie etc.)

There is some decent watches on that list, don't be such a contrarian faggot.

Enjoyed Polanski's Macbeth, captures the dark mood well.

Felt bad they included a naked kid having a shower scene that you just know was scripted so they could casting couch dozens of boys.

Shakes the Clown

Sorry, we only consume Marvel/Disney approved productions here.

OP here just watched gay porn, was fucking great

One great scene at the start and then a long drag through dumb ass Renny Harlan shit.
Don't do it, OP. Unless you are a half wit pleb who likes Harlan movies.

Hard Ticket to Hawaii
The MAster
Attack of the Clones

TDKR
Thor 2
Any Transformers movie
La Llorona

It wasn't about jesus though, at least not from a christian perspective. The movie is very, very jewish in how it interprets bible stories, even incorporating elements of various midrashim.

The baby is not meant to literally be jesus, but rather represent what jesus means as a messiah figure, the ideas behind jesus (loving, sharing, helping each other, etc.) and how we have canablized these ideas in the modern age. All abrahamic relgions are supposedly religions of peace and love, but we actually just use them for our own ends.

You gotta be stupid to literally think the baby is just a 1:1 jesus allegory.

Intermission with Colin Farrel and Colm Meaney or the Gaurd Liam Gleeson and some black lad.
