ITT: movie series that get progressively worse with each film

yea bro, I was honestly super disappointed with Election Year and then complete shit >>>>The First Purge.

They could of done something extraordinary with this idea and done something cooler with the original characters of the story. Why the filmmakers decided to bring in an entirely new cast in every single film with outlandish plots in beyond me. I think the $$$ factor was there so the studios didn't give a fuck about making quality films/sequels. Its a real shame...

That's literally every film series ever. No series gets BETTER as time goes on.

Yeah money was probably the big factor, but this made like 4 films already so shieeet. I’d much rather just see some elaborate crimes on purge night or even a straight up blood bath, maybe some physiological stuff. Or even if they show how people deal with the purge the next day

Avengers got better over time. Avengers 1 was good, 2 was shit, but IW and EG were God tier.

It was good until it became the FUCK WHITE PEOPLE series.

make it more real and interesting. Like you said. show the aftermath or the effects on the brain during Purge. Maybe do something with the surviving characters of the films and turn it around somehow.
