It came out in 2007, it’s 2019 now. You do the math, pal.

retard

reddit movie

Idk what PTA was thinking. The movie looks like shit. So much fucking grain.

WITH YOUR LITTLE SONGS AND DAAAAANCES

So, after twelve years, what did you end up being, Yea Forums?

Are you the type of person who drink other people's milkshakes? Or are you the type who gets their milkshake drunk by others? Unfortunately, I fell in the latter category.

The third act of TWWBB is unwatchable.

NCFOM is so much better. It's insanely well paced and structured and has this larger than life otherworldly feel to it that every major work of art had. Blood is to prosaic and overt in its intentions, you can tell it was made by a very immature and self-sufficient person.

You look like a FOOL, don’t you Tilford.

The point of no country is dude evil lmao.
There will be blood is classic American cinema. It's about the men who built the country.

20 years later and we’re still drinking milkshakes

you fuck they come from quite literally polar opposites, NCFOM ends with the reflections of people at the mercy of the psychopath, Blood ends with the reflections of the psychopath and shows a distinctly different blur and climax of sentimentality being thrown away without a care and the consequences of the vacuum that creates alongside the overbearing destructive side of the archetype

You just didn't find the right straw yet

>whole scene in Pulp Fiction describes how $5 is an outrageous price for a milkshake.
>today a cheap McDonald's shake is

NCFOM is reddit, TWBB is kino

And it's still dogshit... Maybe 20 more years will make it be good

This is what I mean, pta's view is too narrow and local. Coen bros go much deeper. They're even more than just human nature, they're about something more than human. it's metaphysical. NCFOM is really a very special work of art and I feel sorry for anyone can't see it for what it is.

This but unironically

>there will be blood
>it's actually oil

>math
Big time faggito detected

Pleb go watch some capeshit now

>he can't judge a movie on it's own merits
next you'll be saying NCFOM is a piece of unwatchable shit because it doesn't go as deep man as Endless Poetry or fuckin something like that

Blood is a movie about a psychopath and the way that relates to other people, no more no less but is says what it needs to say which is something hard to display like that and it makes it work, cause we're not talking about NCFOM and it is completely unrelated

>if the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was that rule
vs
>i drink your milkshake
yeah dude. I'm gonna have to go with TWBB. Kino af.

You do know NCFOM is an adaptation, right? You're attributing depth to the Coens and not the original author, for some raisin.

i didn't know this was gonna be a Classic thread, i would have dressed for the occasion

this and checked

Came here to post this

Can someone explain the classic Dano meme pls?

Attached: tailored classic.jpg (634x1015, 149K)

If PTA adaptaed NCFOM for the screen it would still be shallow and immature. Coens are on McCarthy's level.

Cuz he always wears suits? That’s it?

Why the fuck you compare these two movies in the first place? It’s not fucking capeshit

both nominated for BP same year, people have been comparing them since they came out

I'VE ABANDONED MY SON!!!

i dont think theres anything specific to it. my best guess is just that he has this very peculiar expression all the time which makes him very memeable.

7/10, made me count my fingers

What's there to explain? It's like when we touch fire, we immediately pull back our hands. It is impossible to not say "classic" when we see Paul Dano.

>immature and self-sufficient person
??
