he would be a black guy and he would fuck all the students
Videogame adaptation when? I'd play a persona style game where you're the teacher. Anime is a chore to watch most of the time.
guys listem up
what if we
we take something good
and
alright listen
here's the good part
what if we make it again
and what if listen
if we make it worse then it doesnt matter
because listen
profit is ours
It wouldn't need cgi and any race can be cast...
The manga was better
yeah but you can just watch the fucking anime
This dude ever lose his virginity?
It's not real people
With the right casting, it could potentially be based. I doubt any American studio would do the episode where Onizuka convinces one of his female students to stay out of porn work, though.
Are you masochistic or something?
Anyway Netflix will soon be looking for a new jap IP to destroy after they rape Cowboy Bebop, so your wish may become true.
American school culture is incompatible with the core context of the show, even before getting into racial and socioeconomic stuff.
they wouldn't be real people either
just actors pretending to be people
americans make the worst live actions, fuck that
>Onizuka played by Will Smith!
You should only want remakes of bad movies with good concepts. Wanting remakes of classics will only ever net disappointment unless you're John Carpenter.
This guy gets it. Remake stuff that was shit, get it right the second time.
Glee was somehow like GTO minus the musical parts
this,
remember death note anyone?
I thought Death Note Netflix was funny, at least. But then, I admit I never really enjoyed the original. Came off as pretentious, tryhard edgelord trash.
yes, im so interested about a bunch of soulless politically obsessed hacks who only care about money remaking things. its always worked out great!
Onizuka
>Athletic badass gang member in highschool who was respected and feared by the whole prefecture
>never had sex
This didnt make sense to me
*flushing toilet intensifies*
Is this anime actually good?
>implying souls exist
sauce?
for research purposes of course
the thing is not really a remake
>pretentious, tryhard edgelord trash
that's the only reason to watch it you pleb
It’s bretty gud. Onizuka starts off as kind of a piece of shit but becomes really likable by the end.
>I AM DORAEMON
Why can Americans only consume americanized versions of foreign media?
>you’re supposed to watch it because it sucks
Look I know we’re supposed to be contrarians here but what the fuck?
And how can they simultaneously keep crying about how xenophobic the Japanese are, unlike themselves.
Because we have no culture of our own. America’s always been about picking and choosing the shit we like from other countries and claiming it.
it's irreverent humor and melodrama. watch it if you like those
Plus the anime is fucking old, in low resolution and 4:3 image format. Theres lot of examples of old animes being remade into live action movie, let alone proper anime remake. Im still pissed GTO never got a sequel, redo or remake
There's also a manga/anime called Gokusen that's about a woman teacher who comes from a yakuza family but tries to keep it secret.
And yes they did 2 or 3 dramas but theyre all shits.
>And yes they did 2 or 3 dramas but theyre all shits
The first one is pretty good. You probably just hate Japanese """acting""".
I hated the clicheed romantic ending with Fuyutsuki. For me i love it in the manga where he never gets to have any girls in is life, it gives him that pure trait an angel like him deserve.
a guy unironically fucks him on the prequels
The 1998 drama was made while the manga was still incomplete. So they just adapted some of the story but retained the characters' personalities.
this is my favorite anime and the only i have watched more than once

Yeah it is, 1950's Howard Hawks joint "The Thing From Another World".
only way for this to work would be turning onizuka into like tony soprano, removing all of the sexual harassment and making it a bit less of a comedy
The least respected job in america is teacher it would never work.
>A 40-year-old California law requiring public school teachers on extended sick leave to pay for their own substitute teachers is under scrutiny by some state lawmakers after NPR member station KQED reported on the practice.
>KQED found that a San Francisco Unified elementary school teacher had to pay the cost of her own substitute — amounting to nearly half of her paycheck — while she underwent extended cancer treatment. Since the story published, more public school teachers have reached out to describe similar hardships.

hello anime faggot loser permavirgin looks like you posted your brainlet pedo entertainment on the wrong board again
Closest thing to that we got is cobra kai
It could be adapted. A part of GTO's story is criticizing the school system
