Don't listen to this clown, Part 3 is kino and you should read it

Nicholas Cage for top comfortable actor
Cast him
AAAANDOOOOO
Jonah Hill
Brie Larson
it's a variation on mahjong and they explain it pretty thoroughly. The last part (of that part) is about how he cheated the cheater anyways so you don't really need to know the rules for that
Andoumind
why is it that Yea Forums always have better anime discussions than Yea Forums?
Are there any actual western shows about strategic gambling? I don't think I've even seen one.
Make a thread for this anime on Yea Forums then post proof, don't just suck your own dick. Yea Forums has nothing good in it.
If they did a western live action Kaiji then I think they should use new names, plots, and gambles. The overall plot would be similar, but the details would be different. I think that would be best. Otherwise it would be boring.
I can see it now...
That dude from drive and also that movie about autist and also blade runner
Too old. Kaiji is in his early twenties.
no kikes pl0x
Nick Cage
ZAWA ZAWA
How else are you going to cast a nose that big?
Kaiji literally me
So, me
Kaiji actually leaves his home though
i think one of the jojos
You're like 10 years too late, friendo
>casting wh*toids as nip roles
kys
The guy playing kylo ren could be good
We need some ugly guy with not much to look for in life
But he need to have that unwavering rage and determination to overcome
Also need an actor that can play the desesperate guy, crying and asking for his mom like a lil bitch only for the next scene to be the chaddest mofo out here
>Adam Driver as Kaiji
wow dude I actually really like that, damn
he could do it, everything else might be shit but he would nail the role
I'm sad that that UK video company didn't released Kaiji 2. They even licensed 20th Century boys.
>Adam Driver as Kaiji
Hate him in NuWars, but unironically would be great as Kaiji.
adam driver
>Leto as Ichijou
based
>Tonegawa
pic related
>HE HATES IT!
**********RON**********
>Adrian Brody
Holy fuck yes
Only part 3 is mahjong, 4 5 and 6 are not
Is Kaiji, dare I say it, the most KINO anime?
Honestly he's shown the kind of acting chops needed for it. I don't think live action would work for kaiji though, too much of it is how they make mundane things seem intense and animation is a lot better at that.
You're massively in debt to the mob and perform in undergoing games for the dons amusement?
the pachinko arc sucked ass
holy shit it just kept dragging on episode after episode
If we only counted the sum of its peaks it would be. Unfortunately the show struggles with massive quality jumps between arcs.
Like the first half of season two is the single best prison story and gambling story ever published, but the second half is absolute garbage.
Tell me about it, they spent 3 fucking episodes Just haveing people react to kaiji in what was literally a mass equation. They could have ended it in one and given the last two to wrap up some story beats/ see how he does on the outside.
It would be if it didn't have 15 episodes dedicated to a fucking pachinko machine. Also nothing ever topped the rock-paper-scissors game for me, although I haven't read the manga so I don't know what else there is
lmao it's real
My god, this looks both good and doable
Pachinko arc is pleb fitler
Part 3 is variation of Mahjong but they don't give much shit about the game and just try to cheat as much as possible
Part 4 is a game of trust played by 3 people while Kaiji is just watching
Part 5 is one poker, a card game where you both put down 1 card out of 2 and the higher one wins
Part 6 ( current part ) is Kaiji running away from TEIA with people who played the game in part 4, no game yet, just an escape arc filled with mind games and strategies
tonegawa arc still the best for me
will there ever be a part 3 anime?
I didn't even mind the pachinko thing so much, it just dragged on forever. I liked that they tilted the whole building and got themselves tortured and humiliated just so they could win, but after the game itself starts they have no agency and can't affect anything at all. They just sit there and commentate. The only one that impacts anything is the casino manager but even he has limited imput.
This. Pachinko arc was unbearable and ruined what could have been a superb series.
Brave men road was great but it's still second to the ship for me.
Kaiji's confirmed for another movie, this means they're gonna have to make another anime season to promote it (as was the case for S2)
We might not have the same composer though, i'm still unsure if he's still in prison for that ounce of weed
It's been like 7 years now
FUCK GAMBLING AND FUCK KAIJI
These movies are dumb fun. I'd recommend Liar Game live action too.
Jesse Eisenberg in his typical role of spineless loser.
