ITT: Movies that were fucking boring as shit but everyone loves
Not everyone is a redditor, kid.
Don't think thats the title of any movie
everyone pretends IT is some classical childhood mini-series but it's a fucking boring slog. I doubt most people even remember anything about it aside from the sewer scene in the first 5 minutes.
mostly true. the slog is with the adult scenes.
I think Anya makes it worth rewatching.
>boring
Go fuck yourself you capeshit loving zoomer scum.
weak bait
Burning was relatively uneventful as a film but I liked it.
Nekkid boy was insanely hot.
>villain is a goat
Lmao
Blade Runner
what is a vvitch?
Fucking exactly
The shower scene kept me from closing my eyes whenever I took a shower.
The abandoned house scene made me often watch the top of stairs expecting some monster to start shambling down towards me.
KISS ME FATBOY
Sorry it was boring shit, many scenes dragging on too long, and wasn't even scary at that. Not sure what you morons look for in a horror film but at least if you're not going to be scary in any way shape or form have an interesting story
The Martian. I fucking love hard science, which is always used as the excuse for dislikes of The Martian, but everyone hates me for saying it - The Martian was boring. So was Dunkirk. Well done movies, but I never felt like Damon was in trouble, and I can't take a war movie serious without violence. It might as well have been a play. To me, violence is the essence of war, and without it a war story isn't nearly as interesting. Imagine Saving Private Ryan in bloodless Nolan style.
this nigga gets it
Yeah, I liked it but I also realize that I would have enjoyed it a lot more if you actually felt there were stakes. For a guy stranded on a distant planet there sure wasn't too much danger or sense of urgency. every problem he has gets solved pretty much next scene. Sucks because everything else about it was good.
It's because it's supposed to be watched as originally intended: as a miniseries. Not saying that it's good. It's definitely campy and cheap, yet people seem to think it's a horror classic when it's just made-for-tv quality, and it shows.
Yep. I finally watched this a while ago after hearing how incredible it was for years, and holy shit was it dull. I mean the cinematography was great and the acting was fantastic, but it was just so goddamn BORING and nothing really significant ever happened
Exactly. Not once did I worry about the guy.
based.
